Honolulu Fire Department Diver Rescue Helicopter - Turbine Engine MD520 NOTAR
Here is your chance to see the Honolulu Fire Department Helicopter Rescue Unit training. Using the state of the art MD520 NOTAR turbine powered helicopter. This training session was conducted off of the upper north east shore of Oahu Hawaii. SCUBA diver was flown out and put in an area where a a simulated diver in distress rescue was conducted. Knowing this unit is just minutes away from any Oahu water problem gives great relief to ocean goers.

240 decibel ping and you have dead divers
Did you ever get a sense for what kind of sub that was? Unless it's an SDV or a small electric drone I feel it is too small to be a Navy sub. The second pass really looks like it's a passenger tour sub and you probably know that. The first pass makes it harder to say. Did you see anything on the surface? I'm surprised this has so few views. It's tough to say exactly what it is and I'm pretty good with ID'ing submarines.
