Only grease slide pins. Nothing else. Those clips are stainless steel buddy.

Do not add grease to those areas 🤦‍♂️ Clean those areas and lube the slide pins. Every time i have to re-check someones work because of noise they have grease slobbered on the back of the pads and on the fitting kit. The manufacturer didnt do it and you shouldn't either. That car aint coming back for brake noise after I'm done cleaning and correcting the mess.

Stupid design. Engineered to make you spend more money in maintenance.

Slide piins ,or under the fitting shims design pending to stop rust jacking, say you fit brake pads grease them up ,take the brakes apart a year or two later ,how much grease is on the pads ,,,mmmmm non and guess what they wont be making a noise !

Yes, for one code it could be for a number of reasons. Multiple codes makes it that much harder to figure out it seems
