I recently spent some time in the Latvian city of Sabile, walking around and relaxing. In this video, you'll see a glimpse of what I experienced there. I didn't visit the popular tourist spots like Sabile's Wine Hill, Outdoor exibition park Pedvāle, Zviedru Cepure or the famous outdoor dolls. Instead, I just explored the city and took in the sights.
My impression of Sabile is that it has a striking contrast. There are areas where the situation seems dire, but right next to them, you’ll find beautiful, charming houses. Despite this, there is something enchanting about the city. I like this city, and it's a living city. I love it there. After my walk, I took a swim in the river that runs through Sabile.
If you ever drive through Sabile, I suggest spending an hour or two exploring the city. Maybe take a stroll in the city center. While there may not be many attractions, there is a unique beauty in the small things.
