JSU Marching Southerners 2022 Production - One Giant Leap (Alumni Performance 11-11-22)
This is the alumni preview and penultimate performance of the Marching Southerners' 2022 production season. It's traditional to have a full scale run of the show the night before the Southerners alumni reunion football game, after the banquet has been held.

(World Record 2/23/2016) Pretty bad, just demonstrates newer strategies. Biggest Timesaves: 1:48 - Bad luck entering this room, no way to influence the monkeys 2:16 - Some bad luck from boss's attacks and poor shooting 3:42 - A lot of unnecessary hesitation from here on out 4:22 - Split early, due to letting go of left one frame too early.

Is it possible to TAS this game? Also, how are some screens (or saves?) you consider imperfect? Cuz some of them looked fine to me.
You could probably run the desktop version with cheatengine at a very slow speed, complete each room, and then speed up the footage, compile each room, and add all the sound effects in post, but i'm not sure how easy or fun it would be. Since the run is only 4 minutes long, any of the tiniest pauses in movement are a significant contribution to time loss. A few of the enemies and the boss have patterns that are easier to dodge or quicker to get through, leading to a faster time. With perfect luck and execution, one might be able to get a ~4:15 to really low 4:16.
