Metrovalencia | Serie 4300's
Here we see a few videos taken during my recent trip to Valencia. The first video taken at Benimaclet and the remaining ones at Alameda, a spectacular station to see for yourself- recessed under a park and an impressive bridge with skylights to allow in plenty of natural light.
The 4300's are the only train type that you will find on the hybrid metro/suburban lines of Metrovalencia (Lines 1, 2, 3, 5, 7 and 9) the other lines (4, 6, 8 and 10) are tram lines. Made by Vossloh between 2006 and 2011 in a sweeping order replacing all other types of trains previously running on the lines.

Short compilation from the Madrid Metro (plus a Cercanías clip) from my trip there back in May of this year. The multi-level station of Príncipe Pío (seen at the end of the video) is one of the most impressive stations I have ever seen, it seemed pretty much mandatory to try and catch the shot of a Cercanías train departing over the top of the metro lines. They sound similar to the 4300s of MetroValencia.

Whoever at Alstom designed these is a genius.
They were actually designed by Arino Design, the same group which also designed the 9000 series back in the day.

Interesting, it's always hard to find any info on the artistic bureaus responsible for the layout and design of the vehicles, I simply supposed they were sketched by someone at Alstom but turns out it wasn't (though it should've been obvious, many Alstom-typical design elements are missing here).

Esos trenes los quitaron, ahora mismo en la L3 de barcelona vuelven a estar los trenes viejos,los nuevos los pusieron unos dias antes de las elecciones para ganar votos y ya
Los van metiendo poco a poco, no meten todas las unidades de golpe. Además las tiene que ir metiendo y sacando para detectar fallos menores en pantallas, etc (o sea, que no los han dejado todo lo finos que podian por las elecciones...). Pero que no esten todos aún y sigan bastantes viejas es normal :)

El sonido de cuando frenan se parece a los Alstom Metropolis Serie 300 del Subte de Buenos Aires
Son fabricados por alstom, y si no me equivoco forman parte de la sere Metropolis junto a las 9000 que circulan en la linea 2 y 4.

Solo hay 24 de los 7000, el resto son 26 de los 8000 para L1 (ancho ibérico)

Wow this sounds very similar to Sydney Metro
They’re both from the same Alstom family, so I guess they’d also have the same if not similar traction motors- If you take a look at Dubai’s Alstom units they’re also pretty much identical in sound!
@@theenglishpig Except that the Sydney Metro uses Alstom OPTONIX MG 1500 IGBT-VVVF inverters (the thing that generates the sound the traction motors actually make) with model 4ECA2120 of asynchronous traction motors, but the S7000 would be using ONIX because OPTONIX is only produced in India, China and South America for metro applications.
la verdad es que no son muy bonitas suenan bastante bien son bastante accesibles por lo que veo pero bueno, le doy un 7,25
