Thekkady boating is one of the best boating option in Kerala for animal sighting because this boating is inside the Periyar National Park. There are lot of ecotourism and trekking options are available for tourists. So, today we are going for the boating in the evening and morning session. After the evening boat safari, we are going for a night trekking also inside the forest. The jungle scout. Its just 3 hours trekking with guide. That's really sad & frustrating for students like me who don't have much money to spend & coming from different states to stay a few days close to nature. I know yt comment section is not a perfect place to ask this but, can you please recommend a few places where I can hike/trek & bring my tent to stay for a few days along the journey in southern India close to nature without getting into trouble? Thank you for your amazing contents, I always enjoy them thoroughly. @@Pikwoods
@@drsaifahmed The tent stay is not permitted in any of the national park or Wildlife sanctuary in India especially in Kerala because the animal density is bit high here. You may get attacked by elephants or other animals in National park at night. You can choose Vattavada, Wagamon, Poondi, area to stay in own tents.

Periyar means Big river. It is Periyar tiger reserve, because of the periyar river which flows through it.
