The AFC Bournemouth Story [FULL DOCUMENTARY] 'Beyond Dean Court' 2023
A club that had played out over 100 years of football in the English third and fourth divisions went from those very depths to the top-flight, the Premier League, in just seven years. This is their story, and how a seaside town's dream became reality.
Through interviews with key figures, including ex-players, staff, broadcasters and supporters, the documentary provides an intimate and personal insight into the minds of those who witnessed and helped orchestrate one of the greatest rises in English Football.

Having just seen this in my recommended section, I just want to say what an amazing documentary
Incredible
One of the shareholders has bought new A league Franchise Auckland FC my home city
Jesus, that music a bit OTT!
To be a Premiership club A new rule the club must have capacity at least 30,000 so clubs like Bournemouth Luton and Burnley can't playing premiership.
Great doco.
Not knowing anything about Jimmy Quinn? He played for us in 1991-2 and scored 19 goals. Terrible manager though.
Remember queing up at the South end when I was 13 years old now 66 2 best ever games villa at home 3-0 to the cherries and Margare 11-0 with Ted scoring 9 goals and it rain heavily that day
Teams like Bournemouth, Brighton, and Pompey have enhanced the Premier League in different ways over the years. Kudos to the South Coast.
Up the Cherries, I never had an affinity to Bournemouth but fair play to them.
I just returned to the UK and my hometown of Bournemouth after 25 years living abroad to see family. One of the stops I simply had to make was to King's Park and the stadium to buy something, anything to remember my time as a kid growing up in Bournemouth and the club. It was extremely moving for me and I think the guys working the club shop thought I was a bit of a nutter!
Well done Olly - it is such a positive documentary. It is not just football, you showed that football touches people's emotions in so many ways. From Cape Town South Africa
Just watched this brilliant viewing well done
My elder sister lived in Bournemouth, her husband took me to Dean Court a few times in the early 1980s. I don't remember too much about it, I think Bournemouth had a keeper called Kenny Allen? Loved the town and the locals, this video bought back a lot of good memories. Thank you. 😊👍
WOW 🤩Only just found this on CZcams now (3 months late - sorry!). Such a great docco, well done Olly!
Great work! Having been a supporter since 1976, this has bought back so many fond memories and some of my heroes. what a fantastic football club. UTCIAD!!!!!
