A good piece except for Hamilton, who is a w****r & definitely not great.
Great person all around and the best ever!
Song at 1:35 is ‘Optimistic’ by Radiohead 9:46 is ‘There, There’ by Radiohead 13:46 is ‘Siren Song’ by Bat for Lashes
He was crazy. A maniac.
Thank you.
Brilliant driver and a better human being.
This is when Top Gear was Boss
He was near Holy in Brazil and a legend in Brazil and the rest of the World.
Not one of the greatest...the greatest ever.
This TG episode is literally the beginning of everyone realizing how great he was on a larger scale than just F1 fans. My son is named after him for a reason, he truly was the greatest because he inspired and captivated what all drivers aspire to be and what fans want to watch.
People should really watch both replays regarding the Senna/Prost @ Suzuka saga. Or this: m.czcams.com/video/UPXZyj8DpV8/video.html
I thought links weren’t allowed on CZcams. They took it away a few months ago. Useful feature though so glad it’s back.
You always could tell the best drivers on what they did in the rain and the top 3 of all time in the Rain are Senna , M Schumacher and Hamilton
May 1 1994, the race start was 6 am my time, and I was a bit late getting up. I tuned in to the overhead shot of Senna lying in the car, and I knew. I had not realized what having a hero meant until I had lost mine.
A lot knew. Only the race directors did not want to recognize as then straight the whole race would have been stopped and never finished.
1200 HP and no downforce, winning a wet race on slicks. Lets call it a day!
He was the best …amazing 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Generous ❤
Senna is & always will be the G.O.A.T enough said ✊✊✊
This video changed my life 15 years ago
Stuff like this really makes me miss top gear so badly, but fuck senna, he was incredibly overated and also a pedo
Senna’s level of passion and ruthlessness was unique. And still get emotional watching tributes.
2 months after his death Brasil wins their 4th world cup
It's been 30 years this week. No way I can watch this without shedding down a few tears...
In Brazil, we basically have three big, popular names that everybody knows: Jesus Christ, Pelé, and Ayrton Senna.
👍🏽👍🏽
he did what prost did to him the year befor
“One of…”? There’s no one above or next to Senna.
RIP Ayton , the greatest ever formula one driver .
Who’s here in the anniversary of his death?
Anybody from MotoGP , He is Giacomo Agostini of F1
Senna. Still the greatest.
One?...simply "The Best Driver of All Time"
RIP Ayrton Senna (March 21, 1960 - May 1, 1994), aged 34 And RIP Roland Ratzenberger (July 4, 1960 - April 30, 1994), aged 33 You both will be remembered as legends.
30th anniversary today.... MAY 1ST 2024
30 years ago today...
Even I am more of a number one fan of Senna, Than some hamilton... 🤬
LETS NOT FORGET THIS WAS BEFORE THE CAR WAS SO SO IMPORTANT NOW ITS THE CAR NOT THE DRIVER NEVER EVER FORGET THIS TO REALIZE HOW GOOD HE REALLY WAS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sometimes its the car Sometimes its luck Sometimes its both Sometimes its just true grit Sometimes its a belief and then some times its nothing but pure natural talent !! Mr Senna had it all well apart from the luck ..His luck did run out but always a positive to a negative and in this case I am not so sure ?????????????? A great man taken away much much too soon !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! R.I.P. Mr Senna !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
God bless him, Not the Prince, The King of Monaco and more
Gone too soon for 30 years today. He probably won multiple wdc in Formula heaven at this point.
30 years ago today.
He was also "spectacular every time he got in a" kart! John Pudney called him "Magic!" (That was 1979)...
Title: *drivers (not "driver")
Thanks for pointing that out. It is changed
@@petrolheads13 Cool
Why is this shot so quiet
Its an old video..i tried to raise the decibals but the voice distorts
Yeah I’ve been watching this video from different people for years and it’s always been quiet I remember when the bbc top gear played it “live” in the USA and it was the only time I could actually hear
i think Senna is maybe bigger legend of Brasil as Pele was all respect to Pele but Senna gave something to people of Brasil which is more than everithing is a proud to be Brasilien ,and same time he was bigest inspiration for lot F1 drivers came after him...and became wolrd champs...SENNA is a GIANT
Worldwide he is a close second to Pele, simply because far more people follow football than car racing.
@@graphiteandglitter I wrote maybe.. in eays of brasilian that time.. . But Pele is Pele it is same like Milan is worvide more popular but in Italy Juventus has most fans, this is very subjective Senna got maybe more fans after his dead....
For me Schumacher in his prime when he went to Ferrari was winning early races on sheer talent. He helped build a team from middle of the pack to years of domination. Even after this Schumacher won multiple titles. He was the complete driver. His mindset was the one all teams want and need.
In 1992... the race season started with cheating allegations against Benetton, culminating in investigations... Fuel and tyres...plus changing regulations... Schumi wasnt the "cleanest driver" and sadly that went through to further races, and further allegations at times.... ( im very sad about his unknown health condition that requires 24 hour care, i truly am, yet the truth matters) Considering Ayrton could work on his car, design motors, tune them and drive like he was possessed, PLUS.... he was excedingly concerned about drivers rights and safety. He STOOD UP, or walked out on meetings he didnt agree with... he didnt suffer fools... he didnt care about popularity... he spoke the truth with dignity... He also took diet and fitness very seriously I dont care, how many poles, starts or wins any other driver has achieved, due to the cars of the time, Senna is the Geatest Driver who ever lived... He stopped his own race to save another, his land and workers were self sufficient, organic and all were provided for... He also created a foundation, still going to this day, to assist impoverished children Millions of dollars worth, to this day... Current cars are computerised, team directed, have simulators to practice within.... SENNA, WAS RAW, REAL , HONEST AND THE GREATEST.... No one will convince me otherwise.... 30 Anniversary on May the Oneth... RIL AYRTON 🙏
@Aut0Facts - love it!
DO NOT FORGET JOEY DUNLOP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!AND HE WAS A BRITT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i love the way hamiton giggles like a kid when driving senna's car
They should have used Hunt coments about Senna in this tribute.
