Mirador de San Nicholas Granada Spain Street Music Volare and Dance May 2024
We walked up to a viewpoint of The Alhambra at Mirador de San Nicholas and enjoyed watching some hombres playing and singing. But wait it gets better. They encouraged this bride-to-be to come up and dance. Fantastico.

Borrego Palm Canyon Trail in Anza-Borrego Desert State Park - April 2024
zhlédnutí 86Před měsícem
The Borrego Palm Canyon is a wide desert canyon descending west to east down the San Ysidro Mountains just west of Borrego Springs. The 3.25-mile loop trail ascends 450 feet to an amazing shady oasis. Great water flow in April and not too hot.

This place was fantastic. The studio guest suite has a private entrance and parking, with a private patio that looks out to the Catalina Mountains. It was very quite there with many birds.
The Slot Hike - Anza-Borrego Desert - April 2024 (The Juice is Worth the Squeeze!)
zhlédnutí 132Před měsícem
I loved hiking down in the slot with the 40-foot high canyon walls. Slots like this one are areas where softer sedimentary rock has been eroded by years of wind and rain. In Anza Borrego that soft rock is mostly sandstone, and in areas the rock has been eroded down to form slot canyons. The hike is such a unique and fun course! In some places you feel like you are in a cave or going through a k...

Canoeing the Ana River - Summer Lake Oregon - High Desert - May 2023
zhlédnutí 25KPřed rokem
I had an amazing time canoeing down a section of the Ana River for approximately 3 miles. It is the shortest spring-fed river in Oregon. The culverts at the head of the river carry water for about 400' from the spring-fed Ana reservoir into the river. The little waterfalls around the head of the river are spring-fed as well. I paddled my 33 lb. canoe like a kayak using a double-bladed paddle. I...

Climbing to an incredible altitude of about 30 feet this is the best ride at the fair (for adults). LOL. I tried to make this video as if you were just sitting there like me in the chair looking around at all the things to see. I did not talk so that you could just enjoy without any commentary. Go during sunset before it gets dark for the perfect light to capture stunning photos and videos.
Crater Lake Oregon e-bike Ride on the Rim Road - Aventon Aventure - Aug 11 2022
zhlédnutí 1,1KPřed rokem
I had a blast riding the rim road around Crater Lake, Oregon on my Aventon Aventure e-bike. An eruption triggered the collapse of a towering volcano and created the deepest lake in the United States at Crater Lake National Park. The ride is hard, in most people's opinion, tackling 33 miles and 3500' of elevation gain. If you do not have a lot of experience on a bike, you should do it on an e-bi...

Well its early July and the water level has dropped significantly the last few weeks but you can still go pretty far down the slough if you are in a canoe or kayak. Its a beautiful place. The water flowing into the slough is coming from the Willamette River.

Beautiful little stream but looks like it carries alot of nitrates.
Is this a man made river? It looks interesting enough. I'd use my Kayak. Looks like it was a great day too.
No, although some of the water comes from the lake but it is technically spring-fed. I have kayaks too but I used my canoe so I could mount my tripod up high and look down at the water so it looks like you are in the boat with me.
I enjoy hearing only the splash from your paddle. And the chirping of birds. Trying to wade/walk this stream is very difficult. Brushy with deep mud. Looks very snakey too.
Paddling is flat water is so relaxing. You hear or see more wildlife and see the world in a different way. Another place I have been wanting to check out is the lower section of the Chewaukan River. It has been a wetter than average winter and the Warner Wetlands may now be paddleble.
Wow! Cool video and great water! So quiet and secluded. Old Town Pack? Or? Looks like a perfect short float!
Thanks, yes that's my Pack.
Poling would be useful
Where is all the wildlife..and were the pipes draining farm fields,?
I was just wondering about those pipes as well.
The pipes drain water from the reservoir, which is fed by springs.
You must have good shoes!
Yup. Lol
Very nice paddle, kind of reminds me of the Verde River in Cottonwood, Az. Summer lake is now on my list for this summer!,😎
Snorkel and mask please😎
Lol
beautiful!
That's a cool area... there are a lot of interesting things to see and do w/in 50 miles of there. There are caves, geysers petroglyphs, fossils, dunes, obsidian, Crack-in-the-ground, Fort Rock, Hole-in-the-ground, Lost forest, Abert Rim, etc.
Are you crazy, it’s horrible over there. Mosquitoes will drain you of blood… ticks… rattlesnakes… Simply horrible! 😂
@@steveparsons6324 True- and wind and ghosts too... no one should ever go there! STAY AWAY!
Yes and few people!
I love paddling little channels like this, especially on a warm beautiful day.
Exactly. And when you have the place to yourself its icing on the cake.
River? Looks like an irrigation canal or a creek. Water is sure translucent probably because of little dissolved iron, and the inclusion of phytoplankton. The amazing variety birds around the area warrants a visit wit my 500 and my sit-on kayak. Thanks for the post
Yes its more of a creek but I was just using the official name of the water feature.
It was definitely the little dissolved iron or the inclusion of phytoplankton...thanks for the breakdown Darwin....now back to nature without the science class LOL.
Bummer you didn’t fish. But I enjoyed it anyway
Did the battery make it the whole way? Were the hills still tough even with assistance?
Yes the one battery made it all the way around the lake. The hills were not that bad with the battery assistance. Looking back I could have used more battery in the first half of the trip but I wanted to conserve battery so that it would last the whole 33 mile loop.
@@robinandrhie how many miles is the loop?
Nope! Reminds me too much of the movie 72 Hours!
Lol
That was a cool video Robin, I like all the boats that are full of people partying! Looks like fun in the sun to me!
I've never seen so many party boats congregating in one place. Total party atmosphere.
Beautiful area! Our favorite Spring time place for photographing birds and other wildlife!
Great video Robin! We love the Summer Lake area and we love to kayak. Did you paddle back up to the culverts? We would love to try this sometime.
Yes I paddled up to the road called county highway 4-17. It was a very different and amazing canoe trip.
A shuttle is required.
Havent been here in over 10 years. Alot of childhood memories though. It looks the same too. I use to rinse off in the little water fall down there. Thanks for posting.
Can you please tell me how far can you go up/down this area? A mile? Two? Would this area be okay for a SUP?
You can go down the river about three miles to the road. A SUP will be fine.
This looks great. We'll give it a try in July. What phone mount do you have?
Thanks. Delta

I recently got an Aventon Aventure and found that my fenders make a lot.. a whole lot of noise. In this video, I hear them every now and then but mostly they are not making a lot of noise. Is there a secret to having metal fenders make very little noise??

How is it able to swallow an animal with claws and teeth and not be damaged internally?
Good question!
Research it and let us know. I’ve never even thought about this.
@@keshiathomas4189 I did some research and found some things I already knew, or assumed to be logically correct or plausible. Thinking about the process more, I'm come to think this way; If we try to, or accidentally, swallow sharp bones we have a serious problem. They may either catch in our throat or they may puncture or intestines. Could it be that the physiological structure of the bird's throat and stomach so tightly constricts the prey so as to prevent much movement until the fish or animal has died and digestion has started.
Yes, blue herons will often hunt in fields and eat mammals. Unusually this one swallows its prey still alive; that's more a Great Egret habit than a Great Blue Heron habit. He even shows some pride in it - notice the tail-waggle right when after he catches the gopher? That's a happy bird gesture. They are very, very skilled hunters.
When talking about premier hunters in the animal world, you never hear of herons, but they are masters, as close to what some dinosaurs looked like, imagine these guys 15 feet long, weighing 500 lbs.
Amazing
nice mirrow. what brand is that?
I just got the same one on Amazon don't know the brad name.

OMGsh!! This is too cool. Amazing art work by the owner. I LOVE IT!!
Hi. Did you climb any steep hills and which PAS level did you use?
Yes I did climb some hills but they were not real steep. I was in pas 3 or 4 and the bike just went up them very easily.
