Muslims should cooperate with each other,... Like the Jew's and Hindus do. What is stopping Muslims from making a Muslim Union like the European Union? Muslims will only be respected,... Once they respect themselves as Muslims.
Brother Omar is a gem and embodiment of passion MA
When renting a flat, they do actually run a credit check on you. It feels like intrusive honestly but there is nothing to do about it.

The financial markets in the UK do offer international students if you go down to city of London you see a lot of international banks down there so they are there they are not in your face to take adventure to the city of London you will see international banks from all countries
You can either change that or end up in your mates micra and end up in depression and truely live the British dream... C"mon pullmyourself together and start grafting
If the value of a car sold for cash is £10k but the sale price on finance is £15k and the financer is buying the car at £10k on the basis that you will pay £15k then how can that £5k be anything but interest. Of course if the financer buys the car at its own risk and then sells for £10k cash or 15k on finance then this is a different scenario that a scholar can comment on.
Nothing broke England, the cash only cabbies broke it!!

Thanks for the the video. I have to say, I wish I could have watched this when sitting an ACCA exam a few years back, where there was a small question on Islamic Finance.
This was such a valuable podcast thank you for sharing this great conversation!
Where does the money come from for these islamic finance guys is it built thru they own money or isit from the western banking system would love to know this

What’s the solution for the current situation in Financial Non RIBA Markets for the Muslim community in the western world?
so interesting, an islamic finance podcast with haram music which was forbidden by the messenger sal Allahu aleyhi wa salam, in sahih al bukhari 5590.
Salaam and thanks for your comment! All music used is vocal only and sourced/certified by halalbeats.com. Thanks for your concern though…
very very less about practical non interest finance
12 : 51 - Kashmir - from the pages of history - five hundred thousand kashmiri pandits were thrown out overnight - ethnic cleansing of kashmiri pandits happened. Not muslims
Islamic Banking wants to have global stage. Then the first step will be to speak in the language understood by the world of banking and commerce. Isolating itself with terminologies and still demanding global attention is never going to happen. Whatever may be reasons for it- Religious identity / Petro dollars/ Restricting Petro dollars within Islamic Community. An economic system centred around assets and deriving its income from it will be more stable than to go into future We need a stable world. Stable economic system. Stable real asset; prices - Land and Commodities- Both Hard and Soft. A mechanism to preserve at least for few years to remove supply shocks and price stability. What we need is solutions. Fool proof solutions. Not wishful thinking. Every branch of science has progressed exponentially excepting economics which is stagnating trying to gain value with data and inferences from sample models. We need a comprehensive solution in this globally integrated world. Loved the reference about how the waqf of Uthman ibn Affan RA is the best example of generational wealth 👏
Great talk by the brother of the issue of Islamic finance and we can see the problem but what is the solution?
Allahumma barik I saw this video on my suggested page and glad that I did. Content that I am looking for as a Muslimah. Will be looking into the apps as well in shaa Allah. May Allah continue to bless you both and give you success, Ameen.

Amazing
It's interesting to listen to. Muslims families I think do not talk / teach halal finance in the house. I know my parents never did.
Umer Suleman 🤩 know you from Islam21C 🥰
41:50 you want to know where muslims took other people's land? You want to know where because of muslims people are separated for decades? Well, I can only speak about Bangladeshi and Pakistani hindus and other religion people. I am sure there are many more
Man! These people are ruining british culture and their way of life
Loved having this conversation!
Eslm is just a destruction of society
I think you spelt *solution* wrong
I heard it can create an economic boom.....
I’m an individual that doesn’t believe investing in the stock market is halal. As businesses that have interest bearing debt are considered halal up to a certain point. Objectively it’s haram. You can’t justify necessity either as investing stock market ain’t a necessity. There’s hardly any real innovation which is so disappointing.
The answer is NO
At least watch the podcast man.
@@HajjTrip2013 why are you scared of the truth?
An excellent podcast, glad it came up on my feed. May Allah reward you brothers
great talk, thank you
My fav episode ❤
Most Muslims that I know, especially reverts, really dislike the topic of money or generally Dunya success - not to mention financial literacy. Do you have any methods for challenging that kind of thinking? I guess there's a healthy balance, I just can't seem to figure out where it is.
@jantheslovakmuslim really interesting point raised! Personally I always think of the very first Muslims and how many of them were fantastic business people. From Khadija RA to Abu Bakr RA, many of them would have been multi millionaires by todays standards. The greater their wealth, the greater the change for good they could make in this world. My favourite example is the story of the first Waqf formed by an investment into a well in Medina by Uthman ibn Affan- and how that investment still survives 1,400 years later and funds much of the development in Makkah (I wrote a little summary here: www.linkedin.com/posts/areeb-siddiqui-01b06144_kestrl-islamicfinance-islamicbanking-activity-7028278243484954624-P5k2?) Thanks Areeb
Considering the situation in the Middle East, it is imperative for us to start businesses to divest from and replace Z!0 income.
why is it "Muslim" money talk? If it was just some "Money talk", you wouldn't have got my attention. haha:) but apart from this attention thing, what's the reason behind the name?
Thank you for your comment. As Muslims, we adhere to a specific financial ideology that emphasises avoiding interest and other practices considered unethical; this can pose challenges when it comes to careers, savings, and above all, investing. The aim of this podcast is to highlight individuals who have excelled in their respective fields, thereby educating the next generation and demonstrating the possibilities available within these ethical constraints. So, we used 'Muslim' in the title to reach not just your attention, but also to resonate with the two billion people globally who share these financial principles.
My fav episode so far!
