But we are looking forward to bringing you more travel content when we go away again in November on our P&O Iona Cruise around Northern Europe and then in Feb 2025 for our lovely little Cornish St Ives week away.

A great video of the whole ship for us as first time cruisers. We are on deck 7. Is there a coffee port on that level. Also, do they have complimentary bottled water or is it just from the water points? Thankyou for any advice.
Hey Thankyou !!! The bottled water isn’t included but you have a decanter in your room which you can fill up from the multiple water dispensers on each floor - deck 7 is just rooms and deck 6 has the coffee port - if you type into google Marella Discovery 2 deck plan and go into tui it will show you exactly what is on each floor ☺️ Thankyou for the comment ❤️

We've just done our first cruise - on Discovery 1 in the Caribbean. I was curios to see what the difference is between the ships.... this video is great. Basically it looks like an identical twin ship. Identical features in every respect. Great video. Good advice (or for us, memories). If like us you were wavering about doing a cruise..... Just Do It! You will love it. Thank you!

Fantastic tour well done, love the detail you've gone into aswell. I went on Iona back in May 2023 and one thing that impressed me was just how spotlessly clean it always was day and night. I had to get up early about 4am on a sea day to film my footage 😂 The deck game you was thinking of is Quiots, where you chuck the rope knots. I really got into deck games, great fun for anyone who's never tried it. I'm curious to know if you took out a drinks package and if so did you find it value for money? Great content, new subscriber here 👍
Thankyou for watching ! We loved it and are going back on the Iona In November 😊. The drinks package I feel was not worth the money it was very expensive and for someone like me who doesn’t drink a lot isnt worth it if you like a drink it would be good 😊
@@ShipsandGiggles2 that's fair. We didn't take out the drinks package and saved somewhere around £280 just by paying our own way and we had a few drinks every night and some more on the sea days.

Enjoyed the tour interesting what you said about up charge restaurant when you said not complimentary. None of it is complimentary, which means free. You pay for buffet, dining room etc in cruise fare so not complimentary at all.

Ignore comment from poster. All Marella cruises are complimentary. There is small excess for some drinks and restaurants but it's all well advertised up-front. You can even upgrade your package (about £90 p/p) and get ALL drinks complementary if you really want the EXPENSIVE whiskey's. My advice is to go for it but if not, you will still love what you get as the standard package. My favourite is the 47 restaurant. That is all inclusive. Ridiculously good!

A great vlog series, really enjoyed it! Please keep it up and looking forward to the next one. A question that I did want to ask you both is: can you elaborate a little more on why the drone was confiscated in Olden? Do they have very strict rules on drone flying?
Your allowed to bring it on with you in the uk and take it of the ship in Norway but they won’t let you back on with it P&O didn’t really say why but the security guard just said it’s the law on the ship in Norway he had taken about 6 more as well from other passengers

We only do Marella cruises now and after watching this series i think we are correct unless of course the Iona cruise was mega cheap by comparison?
This one was a lot cheaper as well with the drinks on board as there all in on your package whereas the Iona drinks was £600 each! For a normal package but we enjoyed both non the less ✌🏻 Thanks again for all the support and nice comments ☺️
