I can't even tell which mission was the best, bcs legit every Mission was so fire, i didn't understood everything what i had to do, cuz i were 4-5 when i played it, but this is just pure nostalgic
Personally for me its the best game series ever
This game took more than 20 years to publish
Technically, I guess! I mean this is a fan port so it's still not officially been released for consoles/PC
@@DreamcastEnjoyer oh sorry lol the game I meant was clockwork aquario They look very similar
@@user-qq3ts4pv8d oooooo I haven't heard of that before - I'll check it out!
Spoiler alert: Yes it does
This was a really fun game. Definitely underrated
Great video! How were you running the game in widescreen?
I captured this footage in the Redream emulator which allows you to upscale visuals and also provides widescreen hacks for many games
imagine using AI to hypersexualize Rouge for a thumbnail despite her char already having enough of that.
When will we get this on the switch? I would like to play it? Although I could also get a dreamcast.
I'm really hoping Sega/Sammy will start putting out some arcade collections like Capcom. If that happens, we could see this hit modern consoles 😊
We lost the soul in gaming, man
I think the soul still burns in the indie scene, and some smaller studios, but I agree most mainstream games are very bland these days
I just beat power stone a few weeks ago and they announce it for that collection.
It's gonna be so cool to play online 😊
@@DreamcastEnjoyer can't wait to hate valgas' overpowered bs all over again 😂
Played the offline GameCube version. Loved it and it’s still a favorite of mine.
You didnt mention the coolest thing. Pop the game CD into your PC disk drive and enjoy 😉
Hahaha oh those swimsuit pictures!
Rouge thumbnail in a 2024 video? You have my attention.
Truly a man of culture 😚👌
Well that crazy announcement happened
I was so hyped when that happened 😁
great vid m8
Thank you kindly
I vividly remember staying home "sick" one time when I was in middle school and spending the whole day playing Blue Stinger and beating it. Take me back god damnit!
That's a power move for sure
I don't know why I see it all over the place, but I hate seeing old games being stretched into a widescreen format. It looks so goofy....
In my case, it's because I was very new to making videos and not too familiar with how to format. If you look at the video description I explain - my newer stuff does not look this way
Dark frutiger
Zone of the enders is another great one fitting this aesthetic. Sleek architecture, neon lights, high energy electronic music, a dystopian society ruined by war between people from earth and mars. And of course MECHS.
I completely agree with your experiences and perspective on the missing ritual and experience of immersing yourself in one game and the longing of bygone quiet days private life with your close family friends and games you can physical hold and cherish because its all you had as a kid. We got more out of it for sure. These types of discussions are becoming more and more frequent as many are finally becoming aware of what has been lost due to this modern age. Best channel I discovered this year.
I’ve wanted to play this for awhile now, guess I need to finally figure out how
Emulates very smoothly on Redream if you get the port that Megavolt85 made
This looks like it has a similar art direction and runs on the exact same hardware as The Rumble Fish Which is a high compliment, that game looks great even now
You're right there - both this and Rumble Fish run on the Sega Atomiswave. Although not sure if there is any crossover in artists on the dev team.
How much?
This is a fan port so it's free to download. The original game is arcade only so you'd have to buy a Sega Atomiswave, which I suspect are pretty expensive
yeah great game have the arcade trade poster up on the office wall.
That's awesome- I'd love to see that!
The idea that ""Dolphin Blue" was ported to the Dreamcast, making it accessible to a broader audience" is asinine. What is the point? Why not port it to a system a "broader audience" owns?
This is a fan port, not official from Sammy, so I suspect it is probably that the hardware similarities between the Atomiswave and Dreamcast made this an easier choice than wrangling with newer tech. If you really want to know though, you'd be better speaking to Megavolt85. I'm just a dude on the Internet reviewing the game.
@@DreamcastEnjoyer ohhhhhh! Ok, then very cool and nicely done! Keep up the good work!
The only PSO 1 that survive is the private servers of PSOBB ultima and the PS Universe Online server in private
Same to the other old games that has a private server such as MhFZ,SF4 Private servers and others
I want to play this game because it looks like a charming adventure, but the fact that it's not readily playable on a currently available console, and the fact that it has random encounters, which I hate, discourages me from trying it.
That's totally understandable! They really should remaster it some day, and nerfing or removing random encounters would be a great quality of life improvement
@@DreamcastEnjoyer Indeed. I know the GameCube version toned the random encounters down, but I still don't like them. Perhaps I'll emulate the game someday, but I've never emulated before, so I don't actually know how to get the ROMs or anything. I've watched plenty of tutorials on how to set emulation up on various systems, but obviously people won't talk about where to get the games for legal reasons.
We desperately needed an english strategy guide for this game. Its a beautiful game but it can be frustrating at times
Saturn port when?
That would actually be sick! I love the way Saturn renders graphics (Bulk Slash is my favourite example of what it does with 2D and 3D)
This is exactly my kinda game but I had never heard of it til now. I love how many hidden gems are out there, especially on the Dreamcast.
Coming here now that the recent Nintendo showcase announced that these games will be playable on the Nintendo Switch.
I'm so hyped for that collection 😎
@@DreamcastEnjoyer I played both Power Stones with friends a lot back when I had a Dreamcast. It would be nice to give them another try to see how they hold up.
The 90's game of all time Jokes inside, this looks radical as heck! I'd also like to beleive Sonic Riders took inspiration from this, gameplay looks very similar (also, YES you need to make a video about those games, or at least the first one!)
I'll definitely cover the first one at some point - fantastic game!
POWER STONE IS GETTING PORTED TO SWITCH.
I just read this news - so hype! 😁
A world covered by endless water + blue/pink dolphins. Its a one piece x dave the Diver crossover
how does one go about playing this? do i go to rom sites and look up dreamcast - dolphin blue or is it a hidden thing since your description says somebody gave it to you..
I played Shenmue for the first time ever just 3 months ago, and I fell in love. I rushed through it too fast, and never got to experience everything. It's such a beautiful and fun game to just chill in and explore everything. I'll definitely go back to it someday in the future. Before I do that though, I'll finish Shenmue 2 and 3. I'm on Disc 3 of Shenmue 2 right now on my Dreamcast, and I'm loving it as well. I think that both games have such a unique feel to them that are both great. Shenmue 1 is that small cozy Japanese town feeling, while Shenmue 2 is that grand world traveling adventure feel. I think I personally prefer Shenmue 1 for that small Japanese town feeling, but both are great!
That's awesome - really cool to hear that this game makes a strong impression all these years later! I still haven't played 2 & 3 so I really should get on the case with that
@@DreamcastEnjoyer I just got to the point in Shenmue 2 where it opens up and gives me the same joy that I felt exploring in Shenmue 1 yesterday. I'm loving it a lot more now, and get the amazing vibes of exploring just like in the first game. These games really open up once you get a job and have a reliable source of money lol. Shenmue 2 is great as well, and I'm so happy that I got lucky and found a Dreamcast copy as an American where we didn't get it.
Is this a hombrew game not a official Sega Dreamcast release?
It's an official Sammy arcade game but has been ported to Dreamcast by a fan
so this game is intuition powered
Intuition will definitely get you a long way, yeah!
did this release in Europe? alot of games u show seem either rare or region based
Yes, this is a French game. I'm playing it here on Nintendo Switch
how come I've missed al, those dreamcast classics
This one is actually a new(ish) game for modern consoles. It just reminds me of the Dreamcast vibe
this game is such a gem
5 seconds in the video and I already love this game
Very good video. I noticed that the sprites and backgrounds look supercrisp, may I ask what emulator are you using?
Thank you! Sure, I'm using Redream here
@@DreamcastEnjoyer Thanks! then it will be my obvious choice for all things Dreamcast.
