Hey hey :) Merci beaucoup pour le suivi et la run ^^. Alors d'un point de vue casual, le jeu est vraiment incroyable. Les défauts sont, pour moi : les téléporteurs un peu trop espacé parfois, pas de retour au refuge direct (ce qui ralenti la tâche lorsqu'on repasse sur les zones à la fin pour le 100%), une énigme totalement incompréhensible à un moment assez frustrante et enfin faire le jeu a 100% est un peu douloureux car on a peu de choses pour nous aider (pas de super vitesse ou de vue à travers les murs, les classiques du genre). Mais sur tout le reste il est magnifique. Pour le speedrun, le seul "soucis" que j'ai avec le jeu c'est que pour aller vite il faut masher. Et c'est plus simple sur clavier. Ici je ne fais pas la technique la plus rapide de déplacement car elle me fait mal aux mains. Mais ça c'est un problème "que pour moi" et d'autres gens vont obtenir des temps de fou je n'en doute pas ^^. Je serais juste jamais compétitif sur le jeu mais ça reste quand même un super plaisir de faire des runs comme ça tellement le jeu est agréable. Definitely not you being dumb. A lot of people were stuck on the shadow. Personally, as a kid, I was stuck on level 7 because I didn't know how to grab the ledge while falling ^_^ Yep :) I hope to have even less time to spare soon (we can't, for now, go to a 16 minutes run but a 17:3x is doable)

So if you're close enough to a guard, a switch will occurs. If you're slighty too far from him, you'll get hit by his attack. A good place to try it / practice is the beginning of level 2, on the first guard (see 0:59) You can do two running jump as soon as you move then move left once. From that position, you can wait and the guard will initiate the switch himself. You can also force a switch by moving toward the guard again but it's riskier.

It's to manipulate the spawn on Vizier 3, just in case the fight triggers. I had to test around 734k filename to find the best one and it's this one. Idk why but it's truly the best :3

I was not theo ne to discover it haha. It's actually one of the oldest glitch found in the game by two person iirc (Abahbob and Akheon I think). I might be wrong and it might only be one of these two but they found it and since then (2015 or a little before?), the game has been destroyed :D Thanks :) Far from over tho. I'm gonna run this game in a speedrunning event in February 2023 that will be in Sweden. So soon I'll have to practice again and hopefully lower my time to a 31!

Haha, yeah. Winx Club has a lot of places where you can just abuse collisions to get OoB (and if you can use your sheild, you can go OoB everywhere).

I am glad that you enjoyed watching this run, this is all I could ask for :D Indeed, as Vasily mentionned, the walls are fixed in the later versions + level 6's door is closed. Since the wall clip is a relatively new tech (last summer), here is the previous WR (still on the first version available online: czcams.com/video/n4O0apOE-Cs/video.html ). One day maybe someone will do a run of the 1.4 version but this game, as you know, is quite challenging (especially the medusa heads) and that would require different skills and rework the route. Regarding doing a commentary, I don't think I will since my english isn't that great + I would more interested to do a tutorial to help new runners (and also go more in dephts into the tech used for viewers). I don't know if you're familiar with speedrunning's marathon but basically they're events where a lot of runners just play non stop. Hello. So the bugs that got fixed, afaik, are the door in level 6 being open (the main reason why this version was played originally for the speedrun) and the clips through walls that is fairly new addition. Usually for speedrunning we're always choosing the fastest version and just by being allowed to skip level 6, this version was always used. If someone is interested into running 1.0 or 1.1 it would be a nice watch I agree.
