O nu cu tot îl bagi în apă
Ca la noi face așa cu doua luminari
Ca la noi faci așa cu lumânări episcop preot🙏✝️😘
Would it be possible to scroll the words to this beautiful prayer? It is the most beautiful prayer I’ve ever heard!
Absolutely beautiful choir!
So, fish isn't a meat?
Thank you Father, I needed this.
I can remember this in church over a half a century ago. Choir sounds great!
Beautiful
God bless you Greg. Humility toward God and man is paramount
This is a beautiful melody. I sang this melody in my church choir
Beautiful! ❤☦️
Disappointed that you are not orthodox
Really well done! Thank you!
I heard in an Eastern Catholic podcast that reciting 150 Angelic Salutations (very similar structure to a "full" 15-decade rosary) is an Eastern Catholic tradition and even predates the western rosary by several hundred years.
It is an eastern orthodox tradition that the less latinized/more faithful of the eastern catholics copy/emulate.
Is this parish Orthodox or Eastern Catholic?
No other Christian religion in the world can compare to the reverence, holiness, and Presence of God than this! The One, true, Catholic and Apostolic Church!
Beautiful!
Thy processionals have been seen, O Lord... Blessed are the people that know the festal shout!
Prayer Rule of the Theotokos = Rosary
No
I Lord Jesus Christ have mercy on us . Υπεραγία Θεοτόκε βοηθην μας. ❤
Thrice Holy? Is that all? Just 3 times?
Nothing beats b/w photography! Lovely presentation. I was one year old, in another part of the world then, but can certainly relate to the celebration that must have represented - God bless you all!
Thank you for all the blessings from the parish family, I could not imagine a more beautiful parish!
I really love the Eastern orthodox church but in my country Tanzania I think we don't have this church.
Too bad. I hear in kenya there is a big presence. Zambia has a presence of coptics but hey thats not the same thing.
These prayers have helped me keep hope and faith alive in my life. Your voice is soothing, confident and inspiring. Thank you and God bless you.
I will just like to drop this here. For those who are seeking Traditional Catholicism, the Eastern Catholic Church is not traditional and they are as modern as the Western Church regardless if their Mass didn’t change much. Now why do I say this? I say this because if you look at the life of the Eastern Catholic life before Vatican II, they prayed the Rosary as well as the Western Church. Mary didn’t appear in Fatima for only Western Catholics. So to downplay the necessity of the Rosary or put it on the same level as the Jesus Prayer isn’t what Eastern Catholics did before Vatican II. One can only do this by disregarding almost all the apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Just check out the Marian apparition in Hrushiv Ukraine where Mary said to supposedly Eastern Catholics in 1987; “Say the Rosary. It is the weapon against Satan. He fears the Rosary. Recite the Rosary at any gathering of people” Mary said at every apparition at Fatima, “Pray the Rosary everyday”. So for Catholics to ignore this for the sake of obsessing keeping their Eastern Traditions is by far imprudent. I’ve been seriously considering the Eastern Catholic Church but seeing everyday how poor their devotion to Mary is, is just discouraging. The Eastern Catholic Church is as Novus Ordo as the West. There are Traditional Eastern Catholics who are Traditional, and attached to the SSPX, but they are in Ukraine and it isn’t seeming like they are trying to move to another country anytime soon. They are the Priestly Society of St. Josephat.
Wow. What a weak excuse. Others did it.
“They had grown used to the demonic in their midst.” Oh, dear. That is chilling.
Matthew 6:7 “But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.”
O inglês é horrível recitando Latim, Grego e até Aramaico 🤮
The bread that the Disciples ate on the Road to Emmaus would have been Unleavened Bread, because they ate it during the Feast of Unleavened Bread, and they were actually faithful disciples of the Word of God.
I really appreciate these and listen to the Morning Prayers every morning, the Evening Prayers every night going to sleep, and this one on occasion. They are a treasure. The reader is perfect for this. One would think he's a monk, though I've read about his life elsewhere and that he's a layman.
Was this meant to be Part 2?
I am Catholic (Latin tradition) and will give holy water to drink for my son and me. Most will say not to do this but I have met several devout Latin-rite Catholics who have said they drink holy water (and give to their children) and never had any problems. Actually they talk about many graces received.
Glory; only to God! Respect to the good people. God have mercy on earth it's people's...amen!
Good video but im confused, why does he quote or care about what Pope Francis says?
Hey I have a question - I noticed that the priest said “The Servant of God Peter is Baptized in the name of … etc”. I know in the Roman rite (which both my wife and I are), the priest has to say “Peter, I Baptize you in the Father .. etc”, otherwise it isn’t considered a valid baptism. Remember the big thing in Arizona where the priest was saying “We baptize you..”? That one made international news, and there were a lot of questions as to whether over 4000 people who had been baptized by him had received valid baptisms or not simply because he said “we baptize you” instead of “I baptize you”. Is this not the case in the Byzantine rite? Are there different words that can be said in the Eastern Catholic rites? I’m sort of new to this, and there’s a good chance my daughter who is due in a few weeks will be baptized either Byzantine or Ukrainian Catholic so I just thought I’d ask.
Byzantine rite is superior
The problem with the "WE" formula (the one that's invalid) is that it says that more than one person is performing the baptism. The passive formula used in the Eastern tradition does not.
What a wonderful grace to witness! God’s blessing from a member of the Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter. We are former Anglicans and Methodists now in full communion with the Roman Catholic Church. We have our own patrimony, and our Mass is a fully valid Catholic Mass. We were established under the Apostolic Constitution Anglicanorum Coettibus by Pope Benedict XVI. We rejoice with all the Holy Rites within the Church, both East and West.
Do those holy rights include moving known pedophile priests from parish to parish leaving a trail of victims? Hmm? So much for the...ahem...integrity and holy rights of your catholic church.
N'isultez pas!@@moonytheloony6516
It should be in Greek. Why is it in English?
Why? Maybe they’re not Greek church
No we have extra books, like 3 Maccabees and a few others in the Old Testament
Hi, I am interested in the canon of the Eastern Catholic Churches. You say, that you have 3 Maccabees in your Bible. Can you please be specific what Bible you use, that contains 3 Maccabees? And what Eastern Catholic Church you belong to? Thank you!
@@davidszaraz4605 I think it was done in a local synod before the great schism, sorry I don’t have more information on that
@@georgios7191 in your comment you write "No we have extra books ..." . Who are the "we" ? Which church are you talking about? Thabk you
@@davidszaraz4605 byzantine Catholics
@@georgios7191 There are several byzantine Catholic churches ... like the Melkite, Ukrainian, etc. Nevertheless, when you look up the Catechism of the Ukrainian Catholic Church (Christ - Our Pascha), on page 23 it lists the same books that the Roman Catholic Church accepts as inspired. Further this is what Bishop John A. Elya of the Melkite church wrote on the decrees of Trent (which includes the canonical scriptures): "As Catholics, we are bound to all of the decrees of the councils that have been promulgated by the Holy Father." Further, John D. Faris, the foremost expert on Canon law of the Eastern Catholic Churches wrote this to me in private correspondance, when I asked him, whether there are different canons of scriptures within the Eastern Catholics: "Dear David, I have received your message. The Eastern Catholic Churches *all have the same canon of the Bible* . Scriptural texts and translations can be used for liturgical purposes only if they have received the approval of Rome. God bless. Father John" So, bishops, catechisms and experts on eastern canon law agree that there is only one canon of Scriptures among Eastern Catholic and the Roman Catholics, since there is only one Catholic Church, the differences are only on matters of liturgy and practices and some legistlation, but not faith and morals. The deposit of faith is identical - the Bible (collection of inspired books) is the same. If you think otherwise, I would like to see evidence for that. God bless.
