I just found out I was denied hearing loss on my VA Claim. When I was a Jet Engine Mech on the USS Ranger aircraft Carrier even though my service record showed hearing loss after we had to do hearing tests each year. This is insane. Working directly on a jet engine I guess does not cause hearing loss.

Exactly Clay the compensation and pension money does not belong to the VA. The money is earned by the taxpayers and the government should not be printing money. The money belongs to the people who have worked their fingers to the bone. Clay the government pays people to be dependent on them and pays people to stay poor or place hold. In regard to the VA employees they are just place holders. Physicians and nurses and medical professionals all go work for the VA in good intentions but their skills fall by the wayside and so does their good intentions. Clay they own it. The government owns it. I have not clanged to them. I do not believe you fully understand deception. The VA strangles the veterans. The VA employees become a statute or a regulation and their science and or medical training is long forgotten.

I asked the same question I begged them in tears and they told me no you’re done. Unpause the video and see what he says. I’m 100% PNT too, but I’m unable to work. But I was able to get 100% Social Security disability. That is hard to get. But I called my congressman and my senators about the Richard star act and it needs to be passed because it’s not fair. Yep, that's me. Went from 42% to 87% last year. Gathering evidence for a couple of things that I think are under rated. But that climb to 95 is pretty tough. Normal math = 160%, VA math = 87%

Hell I’m 100 P&T and still under rated. They low balled me big time on at least 3 debilitating conditions.

80% sucks also!!! They just gave me 10% for tinnitus and it keeps me awake at night. (kept me at 80%) The denied my plantar fasciitis, They stated it wasn't military related, and I've had shots in my feet because of the pain.

I couldn’t watch the whole video because the first minute was like wow, I highly disagree. First the VA should be educating Veterans how to properly find a claim and not Veterans having to educate themselves. Next C&P exams seems be the VA’s method to deny or not provide the proper compensation to Veterans. These exams are flawed and over burden, with many examiners not even reviewing the medical records prior to even understand why you are there. Next many raters or just trying to meet the job’s Q&A standards and are not experts per se as you as the Veteran have to educate them as well too. In the end, the burden is left on the Veteran and this is where the system is failing.

What do you personally feel is a fair amount/rate for a nexus or DBQ from a medical expert? Yes, I know they are very different things. But as we all know, there are many doctors doing them and the rates are all over the place from fair to insane. There’s conflicting info about presumptives…for conditions that were previously denied Service Connection (back in 2009) that are now presumptive…do we open a supplemental claim the new evidence being change in law? Or a brand new claim for the previously denied condition?
