Sammy Davis Jr. - Mack the Knife (AI Vocal Cover)
Many thanks to amplify on the AI HUB discord server, who took the dataset that I compiled and trained this absolutely stunning AI model of Sammy Davis Jr.'s 1960s-era voice.
So immediately I would like to say that, although this is the arrangement from the Bobby Darin recording, this did NOT use Bobby Darin's original vocal as the base vocal that was processed through the AI, which is what most of these AI covers do. I recorded this vocal myself so that it would actually have the phrasing and characteristics that made Sammy's voice so special and unique, none of which could've been captured using any singer using their own style being processed through. I put a lot of care into making sure everything sounded as close to the kind of choices that Sammy Davis Jr. very likely would've made as possible.
I believe the results speak for themselves. Please enjoy!

Elton John - Philadelphia Freedom Live at the Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston, MI August 17, 1986 I spent a long, long time working on this recording back earlier on this year, constantly trying to find ways to make it sound better. I finally finished with this result, and I'm extremely proud of how much the work paid off. This is an insane improvement over the original, if the original wa...
Elton John - I'm Still Standing (Live Aid, 1985 - FEEDBACK EDIT)

Elton John's 1985 Live Aid performance was plagued with issues as soon as they went onstage. The opening song, "I'm Still Standing", suffered frequent microphone feedback issues the guitar had problems and some of the backing vocalists were off key. This song had been kept off of official releases for years, until very recently for a "1 Billion Views" event on the Live Aid CZcams channel. The p...

Just a possible idea of how this may have sounded if Elton hadn't developed vocal nodules which wrecked his voice for his legendary "Tour de Force" of Australia in 1986 with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. Here’s all the elements that were combined together to make this edit: -Elton’s isolated vocal from the Royal Festival Hall on February 5, 1972 -Isolated Melbourne Symphony Orcchestra track...

Elton John Live at The Spectrum Philadelphia, PA - September 8, 1986 Oof. We've gone over these details many times already so here's a quick recap: When Elton began the European leg of his 1986 Ice On Fire tour in March, he abruptly began experiencing uncharacteristic vocal inconsistency, and much difficulty with his falsetto and his vocal range. Then in April the timbre of his voice changed fr...

Elton John Live at The Olympiahalle Munich, Germany - March 30, 1986 In terms of shows that are important in the discussion of Elton's vocal decline in 1986, there's no show quite as fascinating as this show from the European leg. We've established that Elton likely first experienced major vocal difficulty on the third show of the tour on March 4 in Barcelona. He couldn't navigate his falsetto ...

Elton John - Philadelphia Freedom Live at the Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga, OH August 19, 1986 So Elton had already had to cancel the first two shows of the USA "Ice On Fire" tour (August 15 & 16) due to 'laryngitis', brought on by the developing nodules on his vocal cords which wouldn't be diagnosed until around a month later. Not knowing this, he intended to set out on the tour once his v...

"Quack!" - Elton John
What an incredible performer. I was lucky enough to see him twice in Paris. He was past his nineties and still dazzling on stage. A true legend indeed.
These Are All My Favorite Song’s And Lyrics!!!❤I Love Elton John 😂 😅
Can you imagine seeing Sammy live? I cannot fathom the emotions being there as I never was. If anyone should ve brought back from the grave it's this man.
❤❤❤ LOVED THOSE CUSTOM LONG SHELLED SLINGER LANDS
👍👍👍👏👏👏🙌🙌🙌
Levon is only supposed to have a couple falsetto notes, he started doing that to make it easier to sing
Never seen this before 😢 and for good order's sake I've added this video to my special playlist and will revert to the show on this September 13th ❤ 😊
Magnífico Samy davis jr. e atemporal.

When musical giants walked the Earth!
Me and Chris were there
Sammy is underrated for sure as a singer Marc almond just released an album of covers including this one , album worth a listen to
This was a high-water mark and remember it well and I think this was on HBO...where did this vibe go? Nostalgia...400k wow!
absolutely disgusting sinful homosexuality. imagine is a communist satanic anthem. horrible talent. Jesus Christ is LORD!
Saw him in St. Louis years ago under the arch. Bennie and the Jets echoing off of the buildings downtown was absolutely memorable.
An outstanding musician.
Out of this world
I was 16 years old, the park was packed... Two months later Reagan was elected President.. A month after that John Lennon was murderd.. It was truly without a doubt the end of an era....
Mr. Tony Bennett, you were there when I was 12 they played your sons at the skating ring, I was skating in tune with Rags to Richess, I am now 82, I miss you so much your songs is all I have left.
I'm British. When this concert was staged, I was a globe-trotting quality auditor, and I just happened to be in New York when this very concert was staged, and I went through hell and high water to witness this show of great talent and showmanship. And I'm basically a metalhead. Was I disappointed? No, I was stunned, and I've never forgotten a single number. The only time I saw Elton live in person, and I was not disappointed one iota.
Dr Pepper concerts were just as big.
what a gift this footage is.....our lives
I love Freddie and Live Aid especially! Thanks for putting this together!
Someone Saved My Life Tonight sounds sooo good. And, at 1:35:20 some random lady jumps on stage, kisses Elton on the neck and runs off. But, he pulls her back to the piano bench for the remainder of the song, where she says " I made it!" Sir Elton, what a legend!
Impressionante! Gostei muito! Parabéns pela postagem!!
This was the first Elton John show (though in Montreal), I saw, the "Little Jeannie" tour! Thoroughly entertaining!!
Excellent concert. Grew up in NYC. For some reason I realized JL's song IMAGINE is the foul GREAT RESET's Anthem. 'Imagine' that. Just sayin...
Great concert.
The other cast members are either Jennifer Eaton or Shelley Packham as Mary (they alternated), Ike Jenkins as Caiaphas, John Kinderman as Annas, Michael Cunio as Peter and Walter Winston O'Neil as Simon Zealotes
I LOVE when he just freestyled! 1:14:26
The shout out to John Lennon was devastating. Great concert though. I was one of the million or so on the lawn.
25.years later, I'd see Sir Elton in MSG. My vantage point for that concert was behind the keyboard and so I could watch his masterful playing from that perspective. One of the best concerts I've ever been to in my life. I'll also mention that Elton John's greatest hits on eight-track tape was the first rock and roll album I ever had. I received it as a bar mitzvah present in 1974.
I love how consistently manic and unhinged Nolen’s take on Sweeney is. Guy is constantly on the edge and out of it.
Before mega video screens. 400K. Peaceful jam
This is a great performance but in my opinion, my favourite performance post surgery is on the October 20th, where he attempts and succeeds with 6 yes I dos' at the end, and all the shine a light falsettos as well. This being the link to that performance. -> czcams.com/video/BmkPgtZxLu0/video.html
4:13 the last recorded time he sang the d5? (well attempted anyway... XD)
8 décembre 1980 😢
I remember seeing this on TV when I was a kid. It’s great to see it again decades later and having grown up with Elton John’s music. And I love how they started the show off with “Funeral For A Friend (Love Lies Bleeding)”, my ultimate Elton John song and one of my favorites of all time.
RIP my love, Tonny, for ever.
lennon was murdered 3 months later, that's crazy
Boa tarde

Someones head is in the way of trying to see this video Lousy recording sadly!!😢😢😢

According to his autobiography, substance use was a problem during this period, but man, whar an incredible performance
this was him at his very best as a vocalist in a live setting
