Plan was to go to a resort for the day but traffic was so bad we decided to go to the beach instead. Unfortunately for us when we got there it was fully booked. As we are all hungry we stopped and had a picnic on the side of the road instead.. Total round trip 7hrs including time spent in traffic

2011 Ford Mondeo 1.6tdci non starter due to air in fuel line

Had to remove both fuel lines from fuel filter and pump fuel into the filter from inlet pipe till fuel started to flow out of outlet pipe side. Reconnected outlet fuel pipe on filter and continued pumping fuel to reach injectors, reconnected the inlet fuel pipe and started the car. Car started straight away. Problem sorted.

Well done Jonny, Yours is the only video I've found showing how to remove the alternator on this particular model of the honda civic 2.2 ltr diesel , yes it's a fiddle, however we got there in the end, cheers
