Someone once said, there are two things you can count on. 1. There is a God 2. You are not Him. In this parable of Jesus reminds us of a proper posture before God, and a proper posture toward others.

It's the End of the World as We Know It

Wow im 58 , have i learned somethings today 😮😮..im bad at screen time. I talk to ppl all day, im single, i go home and it's my way of decompressing... I do try and find GOD content but there are times though ...u remember my nephew when he was younger into gaming he was told 3 times dinner was ready, he was so engrossed in that game he didnt hear ..
As a hairstylist, doing kids, it's easy for the parent to just whip out that phone put on a video for distraction but, they are not teaching them how to behave or listen to an adult...are they going to accompany johnny to college, or on dates...it's messed up...its so interesting that this was 5 years ago, my how things have escalated....😮

It would help if context is considered in interpreting the text. See the explanation of the wheat and tares before these parables and will help us on this parables. The treasure hunter and the merchant is Jesus Hinself. The field is the world and the treasure and the pearl is the Church. He bought us with His precious blood and He gave up His royalty and came down as a man to save the world. The pearl speaks of beauty and worthiness of the church produced through suffering like the pearl is produced due to so much irritations. As christians were called to deny themselves and carry their crosses to follow Christ because in this fellowship with Him we manifest (2Cor. 4:7-12)Him who is the King of the Kingdom.
Exactly. The message in this video is a good one. It's just not what the parable means. It is most definitely talking about Jesus and supported by the surrounding verses, as well as scripture elsewhere in the Bible.
