Mega trash.
since most of Sweden's stamps are booklet type stamps it's not hard to find booklets eventually . I seem to have accumulated several from estate sales and sales offer lots. Most are mint but some like the ones u have shown are canceled in booklet which brings up question of how they are collected in Sweden.
Hi Jerry. I enjoyed your video. Some of those stamps in the booklets were beautiful. I especially liked the berry stamps, but I think it is because they are colourful. Some of the other engraved stamps are very artistic and lovely. Why did you choose to make Sweden one of the countries you want to collect? Just because the Swedish stamps are of such high quality and frequently beautiful? Take care!
Hello Charnie. I am glad you liked the stamps, I chose sweden because of the fact that most of the earlier issues are monochrome and sweden didn't really use more than one colour until much later and they are beautiful engravings
@@jerrystamps That is true! You teach me a lot about Swedish stamps now. 🙂
There is some gorgeous artwork on these stamps. I have an envelope of a few Swedish stamps you are welcome to have 👍
Hello, the artwork is great, and the designs are appealing too, I like them very much. Thank you for your offer, you can email me at: JERRYSSTAMPS@outlook.com
Most of them have the value öre. 100 öre = 1 krona
Thank you, I'm just getting used to them lol
are you open in swapping?
Yes, I'm open to swaps etc. Email me at: JERRYSSTAMPS@outlook.com if you like 👍
@@jerrystamps do you have Facebook or FB messenger?
Really nice engraving work!
Thank you. They are really nice, I am hoping to find some more.
I quite like those booklets some nice stamps 👌
They are nice, I might have some more somewhere 🤔
That Cat is actually a she wolf and she is nursing Romulus and Remus. Absolutely love 🇮🇹 Italy!
Interesting, thanks for that.
VERY nice! They look 👀 fresh!
Thank you, It's a great album , and one I am going to try and complete and add to.
Great video jerry! 🇸🇪 Sweden and Switzerland 🇨🇭 are two have to have collections that is a must for me. Haven’t got serious yet haven’t had any time. Thank you for the inspirations. I save all your videos!
Thank you, I'm just collecting the odd thing here and there, I've got some nice mint stamps I will show in another video. I'm happy you are a fan and save my videos 😊
i hope you keep the NZ collection.
Hi. Yes, I am keeping New Zealand and America.
Nice Sverige stamps!
Thank you, I just had to collect them, lovely designs and artwork.
Awesome looking album 👌
Yeah, it is. Take ages to fill it lol
Nice lot find. I would keep the occupation stamps of the late 40's on piece as they are more collectible in that fashion either on cover or on piece
Hello, thank you for the advice, I shall do that. I am glad you enjoyed the video.
Hello Jerry, you bought, again at a good price, some nice mostly German stamps. The souvenir sheets are quite pretty. Thanks for sharing - I enjoyed looking at the stamps with you. 🙂
Thank you, Charnie. I have quite a few German stamp packs now, so i won't be buying any more for a while 😅 I am sorting them all out and then adding them to my album. I am glad you enjoyed looking at them 😀
How in the world 🌎 do you keep finding the good stuff for nothing? Great stamps man! Love your channel!!!
Hi, I have no idea, I know a few places and a bit of good luck, I guess. Thanks for the kind words 😊
Thanks for the great Video Jerry! I'm not sure about the 'round' stamps, but I think they are labels/stickers for rolls of stamps? They essentially say, Roll of Deutsche Bundespost, 300 pfennig, 10 rolls @ 300 pieces = 9000 Deutsch Mark." My German is HORRIBLE, so I hope someone will correct me, but that's my guess! :) Thanks again Jerry!
Hello, thank you for the information. Your German is better than mine 😃 I'm glad you enjoyed the video.
Hi Jerry i did flirt with collecting Germany i was a child living in Munster in the early 70s but Japan won out 😁. Thanks for the show its always interesting to see what you have in these bags . Regards Gav.
Hi Gavin, I am glad you enjoyed the German stamps. Those bags are excellent value, and apart from the title on the bag, you never know what else you're going to get 😀
You got some great stamps. Thank you for sharing.
I am glad you enjoyed them, thank you 😊
Приветствую! Очень замечательное пополнение коллекции. Мои поздравления и хорошего коллекционирования.
Thank you, they will certainly help with the collection, its growing quite nicely now.
Very enjoyable Jerry thanks marra . Regards Gav.
Thank you, I am glad you enjoyed it.
Very nice 😊! You found all of that for very little money 💴 really amazing! Sometimes it’s really beneficial to just look around. Great video!
It was a great find, i always look in charity shops and the like as you never know. I am glad you enjoyed the video.
Thank you Jerry, this was a very enjoyable video. I think you got a pack of very good stamps, mostly excellent condition and many mint stamps and I also think it was worth buying. There were many lovely stamps e.g. 4:47 love flowers and butterfly; the other flower stamps from Ireland; 5:49 cute sheep; 7:21 sea creatures Alderney; 8:11 sailing ship stamps from Ascension Island; 9:03 lovely bird stamp from GB; British Antarctic Territory - beautiful blue stamp; 11:35 beautiful colourful stamps from GB; 1414 fish stamp from Ascension Island; 18:44 I also think this is a lovely stamp and artwork from Ireland; 18:51-19:10 bird stamps from Hong Kong; 19:49-20:06 fish stamps from Ascension Island; 20:35 penguins from Ross Dependency; 23:08 Fish stamp Tokelau. Mostly it seems as if I preferred the fauna, especially birds, and flora stamps as usual. 🙂
He Charnie. Thank you for your reply, I am glad you enjoyed the stamps. There were many nice stamps that feature animals and plants and a lot more in the bag, great buy, and well worth the £5 which is around 10.42 nz dollars.
@@jerrystamps Wow, only about NZ$10. In view of the excellent condition and variety of stamps you got it is REALLY a good buy! You are very lucky to have found this and in a thrift store of all places.
@GreatStampAdventure Yes, very lucky and excellent value. Sometimes, it pays to have a quick look 😊
nice assortment of stamps in that grab bag..... I'd buy such if I encountered it at a charity shop. Thanks for sharing your loot with us !
Thank you, I was looking on the shelves and sometimes you get lucky, I am glad you enjoyed them.
Many nice stamps. I especially like the train sheet
Hi, thank you. It's one of my favourites too.
Wonderful selection of stamps, Jerry and definitely a bit of a bargan. I was surprised that there were so many stamps in mint condition. You don't usually find that in charity shop stamps, so well done! I have put a few notes that may (or may not) be of interest to you. 01:37 Although inscribed Fauna and Flora, the theme for 1993 is orchids, so these stamps all depict orchids (just in case you didn't know). 04:01 These stamps are Christmas stamps. Nollaig is Christmas in Gaelic. 11:22 Thses four stamps are from a booklet of greeting stamps. I think they were the first British greeting stamps and were the start of a long series of such stamps. There was another stamp with Cupid on. The booklets had 10 stamps with 2 strips of stamps of each design. 20:43 This stamp is actually from the French Antarctic Territories (French Southern and Antarctic Lands)
Hello Stephen. Thank you for the information about the stamps, most useful. I am glad you enjoyed the video, I am quite often to be found in charity shops looking for goodies on the off chance they may have something.
Hi Jerry! Hope you are doing well! You bought quite a lot of nice German and Austrian stamps and it sounds as if you have some good contributions for your collection. I especially liked the stamp with bats (4:30) (even though you already have it), and I find the stamps with portraits of people by Germany and also Austria are always attractive. Are you going to include covers in your collection? Thanks for the relaxing video!
Hello Charnie. Thank you for your kind comments. I am OK, I hope you're well, I don't collect covers, so I will give those away, nice varid amount of stamps in those packs and they are good value too.
Wolfgang lol 😂
Yes, you're even on a stamp 🤣
one could spend a lifetime dealing with the "German" area of collecting stamps/philatelic items..... German states, German Empire, German colonies, WW2 era, West Germany, East Germany, German occupied areas from WW1 and WW2, Berlin ( American, French, British and Soviet zones), airmail, Simi-postals, Cinderellas..... from what I've seen, the German postal systems were quite good at making sure stamps were cancelled so they couldn't be reused.... Michel put out an English-language catalog that I've been thinking of buying..... Thanks for sharing your latest German acquisitions !
HI JERRY, how are you doing. here we have constant heat of up to 37, sometimes 40d..it's getting a bit too hot...Nice collection on German stamps and German berlin ones with a few Austria.
25d here is hot for the area, gosh 37 to 40 would be way to hot for me. I am glad you enjoyed the video, I am well and have got over my cold.
Hi there, a new subscriber here and a fellow collector, nice content, love it❤

@@jerrystamps what is your main area of collecting?
Hi. My main areas of collecting at the moment are Germany, Transkai and another collection I am keeping quiet about for now.

I saw where you said that you don't collect for investment but for fun only. I collect for fun only too. That's what makes the hobby enjoyable.
Indeed, it is, I got some goodies, but you will have to wait until my next video.

Enjoyed that video Jerry, thanks. Great layout! What catalogue are using to number your Germany stamps?
Hi. I am glad you enjoyed the video, and thanks for the kind comment. The catalogue I use is Michel Deutschland 2016/17. It is in German, but I use Google translate text ( when I open Google on my phone ), and it translates it for me.
День добрый Очень красивые марки, мне понравилось. С меня лайк и подписка.
Thank you, much appreciated.
Hi Jerry! Thanks for sharing your Bundespost era collection. Neat and well displayed. I enjoyed the video. I more or less liked the same stamps as you, and I think the chess piece stamp might be my favourite. Get well soon and completely!!!!! A cold is a horrible thing. And just the best in general. Enjoy your weekend!
Thank you Charnie. I find the German stamps very interesting and colourful, I'm feeling much better now, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Best wishes.
Great video. Nice group of stamps. Get well soon.
Thank you, I am glad you enjoyed it.
I love seeing your collections. You've laid them all out so nicely. I collect Bundespost stamps as well, so I never tire of looking at them. You have a mix of mint and used. Do you plan to replace used with mint gradually, or keep it as a mix? I like to collect both mint and used, because I enjoy seeing the variety of postmarks. :)
Hello Happybunny. I am glad you enjoyed the video, I plan to keep them as they are. If I get a mint stamp, I will replace the used one, but I'm not purposely going to do it. I enjoy trying to complete the collection as much as possible so mint or used are OK for me.
@@jerrystamps That sounds like a good plan. I make my collection like that too, with some extra postmarked stamps on the side. Sorry to hear you've been unwell and hope you are fully recovered from your cold soon. Thanks for the enjoyable video. :)
@happybunny1329 Thanks 😊
