I tried to replace the window seals only to be side tracked into painting the whole dash and cab pink. Been a hot minute since I started her and did any work but I feel it's all starting to move forward now. Next episode I will share why I am doing her up and what her purpose will be.

I’m loving the excitement of watching this wee beauty being renovated. Can’t wait to watch all future instalments no matter how big or small. You will adore the Bambi forever more. It’s like going back in time hearing the old engine do its stuff right under the seats as you drive. Sidewinds though are a scary fairground ride you’ll never forget. It feels like driving an empty cornflake box in a storm. I live on top of a steep hill and it’s a learned skill to get up to 30 even without the sidewinds. I’ve been in love with the Bambi since I was a teenager and got my first one about 5 years ago, all original bits and bobs. Was like a driving a Time Machine. After about a year of glorious galavanting the head gasket went and while it was getting skimmed I made the mistake of taking the engine apart myself to refurb the rest of it. Big mistake as I now have my beautiful Bambi like a giant jigsaw puzzle and a whole spare Bambi keeping him company on the sidelines. Watching your video and others like it helps me remember what it was like driving my wee Bambino and hopefully will inspire me to get my finger out and find a mechanic willing to get mine back on the road 🚐 💨
They are a project for sure. I’m taking bets on how many times I break down 😆

A decoupage video without the sealing process is like baking a cake without turning on the oven. Gluing thicker paper is the easy part. All hell breaks loose when you try to seal. The clean seam issue is interesting, but so many people are terrible with razor blade cutting.

The lamp im trying to rewire only has blue and brown, live and neutral. Never had an earth?
Same issue here, what do you do with the third wire?
They will only ever have an earth if it’s a metal fitting. If it’s plastic it won’t have an earth.
Sure is awfully thick wrapping paper.
Depends on what quality you usually buy. This is nice quality 👍🏼
