Its called Booth bay Harbor, the Town of Boothbay is further inland. A piece of local info is that they have an historic rivalry and calling the harbor after just Boothbay is insulting to some in Boothbay Harbor.

This is one of the better Salem vids. I've seen. I'm glad you enjoyed your time. I've got a few suggestions if you go again. Take 2-3 days in Salem and 2 days in Boston. The Salem hotel is a decent hotel (the roof bar)and affordable. Take the trolley and ferry. The ferry will get you to Boston and back plus its a tour plus a Bar and you can also get to the vineyards. The trolley will take you around Salem's heritage trail and its a tour of Salem's past to present history. There are many awesome bars throughout including breweries. For breakfast The ugly mug ,reds and gulu gulu cafe are great. For sweets good night fatties (homemade cookies), Caramel French patisseries, and melt(ice cream) new flavors every day. For dinner or lunch Lobster shanty, mercy tavern, finz, turners, flyning saucer(pizza),kokeshi, and bitbar. there's more but these are almost a garaunteed good food and atmosphere. There's almost too many good places for coffee the most well known is jaho but the others can be even better. As far as locations the place behind CVS for proctors ledge just up the hill was gallows hill and and another monument. Just up the hill is a haunted because that's where the bodies were disposed of after the hangings from the witch hysteria. many of the places I've mentioned are for a good reason first they all have good food and some additionally good atmosphere. Some have arcades like the bitbar some have live music at night others just have good drinks or laid back atmosphere especially reckafellas. Lastly in the spring and summer don't forget the tiki hut boats cruise. Its hard to beat a trip over the ocean while having a few drinks on a boat relaxing or making small talk with new people.
