Great guide. Question about the lock out. The pick pocket loot used to reset after 10 minutes. So you never had to reset the instance, just keep circling endlessly. Did that change for SOD?

if you arent a hunter or buying gold, you will never have crazy amounts of gold in sod. sad but true
If you did 5-6 loops a day in Hinter or Fera incs for the past 2 months, you have over 10k
Is the BRD worth a shot or too high level?
Can mobs drop boxes again after waiting for the pickpocket timer? or do you need to reset
Never really tested this myself. My general understanding is that they can not be pickpocketed a 2nd time, maybe after an hour or 2? possibly some really long time they might regenerate the loot. I would assume you'd get a fresh set of lockouts before the mobs regend loot

@@itssnookertime Uh ye something like that sounds about right. I normally had to vanish a resist every few mins, not usually faster than vanish cd tho. Rarely id have to prep for vanish
I do it first time today levl 50 mage with decent gear, can't pull more than 150. i just don't find any more mobs on the right side...

Cowl comes from the follow up to C's quest, honor amongs thieves phase 3 rune. There are some boots from honored rep with nightmare invasions that boost stealth aswell. Reason you couldnt find info was cause this place is farmed by mages, and cause rogues whould do DM and BFD instead. Also i couldnt find chests in ZF ? I whould do SM chest runs with some pickpocketing in P2.

Don't think so. The drop table for the pickpocketing and the lockbox are pretty standard stuff. Just boring consistent gold value
Cool, thanks for the share! A nice part of the new duel spec option for my rogue is having a farm spec (since I don't do pvp content) and take the reduce sprint/vanish and stealth talents when I'm just doing farm stuff and don't need dmg talents for it.
Yeeee dual spec makes this nice and 1g respec cap makes it easy to swap around even if you just want somethin new
Is this better than pick pocketing BRD?
Yeeee so i went to BRD and even with talents specifically built for it i resisted too often to consistently make gold.
yea you’ll wanna wait till 60 due to mob lvls. At 60 tho BRD will be better

lol I just turn on a movie go through SM GY pickpocketing, killing all elites opening chests and killing the boss then I do the same for library minus the first boss.

Possible, yes. efficient, no. Especially with the recent LF changes you'd really want arcane power to close the kill phase
Meh honestly, farming the big iron fishing pole is just as profitable as this and way easier.
This runs much easier than SM and still makes really good gold. If you get super good at WC and get better gear maybe go take a look at SM. but this is a great place to just make enough gold for mounts/consumes/alts/etc good luck gettin that gold bois

Dungeon chest cant drop supply atleast before the changes this week now i dont know. But any open world farm for chests is probably higher g/hour since the supply turn in reqards are so crazy i think
Ye what that other guy said. But some guildies said something like "i killed non elites in gy for waylaid chests and got them fairly often". Never tested it myself but it seemed reasonable

I did, 1 chest. The circuit shown was 13 minutes for a default/new player. Maybe you could do slightly more with practice/gear/experience
Be warned fellow Rogues: I got a Ring of the Underwood from a chest in SM Armory and equipped it because it is nearly BIS for Rogue in SOD p2. Then, I got another to drop but was not able to loot it because it is a "Unique" and not "Unique-Equipped" (Thanks Blizz!). I invited a guildy and paid for their summon to SM. Cleared to the chest so that they could loot it for me just to find the Chest disappeared. 50g item taken by the gods. This takes away my big ticket item for this farm unless i take off this ring I suppose.
Leave your soulbound ring of the underwood in the bank for this farm. I am not 100% sure if that will work but I have no other choice for now.

ye its a 13 minute circuit as is didnt see a point to add it in but if you are fast enough you can also kill the rare elites in gy for some extra money
well ngl. the rogue guide Is to reroll hunter or mage alt. that's the main reason why there's not a lot of rogue gold farming guide out there. since you'll cut your hours by 4 times the amoun if you play one of those classes. like by the time you managed getting 100 gold as a rogue assuming 25 gold per hour. mage/hunter has already made 400 gold.

Whe i was doing testing it was already a 13 minute circuit. Theres a few altercations you can make such as looking for/killing rare spawns in gy as well. all preference

I've tried farming Uldaman for chests, but from the 20+ runs ive done so far, I haven't found a single one. I think they might be disabled, which is a shame
@@AaaBbb-pl8jcthat sucks to hear but they did the same in the last phase where certain chests/mobs didnt drop loot(high lvl in particular)

Great question and something i prolly shouldve mentioned in the video - All instances of scarlet monastery count as 1 dungeon. So as long as you do all 3 before you reset it counts as only 1 dungeon reset. gl out there!!

However, I do get the 2nd chest from GY and kill the boss for an extra 20 or 50 silver but either way, as u said at the start of the vid as a rogue, it's hard to find good gold grinds, so again thx!
Glad to hear thats workin for ya, ye a few rogues in my guild mention they kill the rare spawns in gy. Some mentioned they were selling the items from the rares similar to WC legs drops but far far more rng dependent
