My father was an E-7 Load Master (favoring the C130) when he moved on to be "Top Brass" with the USCBP. I, myself, have never flown aircraft in the USAF (just sims) but I saw the point when the pilot lost control. Very sad. That and at the time (don't know if this is still true), it was the first fatal accident from the C-17 Globemaster III

The USAF seems to lose a number of aircraft particularly when “practicing” for an air show. It’s not an F22. Many times pilots in cargo aircraft WISH they were flying a fighter. The selection process happened a long time ago when he was at UPT and put in the cargo aircraft track, not fighters.

Am i the only one who thinks that the crash portion of this video is "fake"? At 50 seconds you see what appear to be clouds below the plane then at 58 secs, you see an obvious change in the video that doesn't appear to be the same video & the smoke n fire look really fake, not to mention the way in it enters the trees just looks off.. I think this is a psy-op of some kind and this video was manufactured cause other videos stop right at the same time the video changes at 58 seconds. Not to mention that he leveled out & was flying straight b4 the last bank, how many plane crashes resulted from stall and the people said as soon as the stall happened, it just dropped like a rock. Nah this shit aint real cuz. Use ur common sense and turn the volume off. The truth: its right there b4 ur eyes

No reason at all for the angles that pilot took. Unnecessary risk and stress that the plane isn't designed for caused it to crash. Pilot 100% at fault.

This pilot was plain stupid and arrogant and got his crew killed. In the official crash report he didn’t hit one minimum speed requirement for any of those turns and went 20 degrees past the max bank angle of a C17. He did everything possible to lose lift. RIP to the unfortunate crew members he killed.
