the origins of the wheel is equally an enigma; some gave the Mitanni credit; some say Gutians who were nomadic introduced chariots to the other people groups like the Hittites; the Assyrians and Egyptians also adapted chariots for warfare; I watched another video on the topic of nomadic peoples that point to the Scythians - another culture where little is known of them; whether various nomadic people were genetically related or if they adapted to the lifestyle out of necessity is also a mystery

I am immensely grateful that this work is being done. I've only recently come to know about the history of the English language, and Dumbarton Oaks' rigorous efforts to preserve and share these great works is incredibly important. Being able to have access to works of Anglo-Saxon culture is personally a wonderful thing, as it strengthens my own connection to my heritage. I look forward to purchasing and reading from this collection, and thank the scholars for their efforts.

It's Harvard. Invest the money into restoring the pebble garden back to the pebble pool & fountain! With modern materials and methods, this has got to be exactly what someone is working on right now. John Pond, Master Brickmason,'s work can be seen on the private sidewalk inside the 32nd St. entrance. PRO TIP: For more gardens & culture, walk south on 31st Street to Tudor Place. tudorplace.org
