I don't like it when they pre-record the voice and then they act as if they were singing a in a one-shot video making irrealistic faces, you don't sing like that. I think that what you have to do is to make a whole performance or don't do nothing. Making pretty faces at the camera, pretending to be singing perfectly, is kind of rejecting for me
actually, this recording uses several vocal takes, and one of them is the one i recorded from this video recording. so it's not all acting. but I appreciate the feedback, ale!
Thank you for the reply. What I meant with whole performance is doing playback while doing something else like dancing or doing something else a little bit more artistic. But here you are overacting in front of the camera, I'm not immerse in it. It's like you want to give a sense of naturality but at the same time it is too artificial and empty. In Björk's video, you have a whole performance, and she's not singing live obviously. It is a good cover though.

Personally, I think it is vital for these kind of songs. Otherwise it is like saying empty words that pretend to be meaningful. I think that if you want to deliver something natural or transmit the sense of it, you have to be natural. If you don't, just don't do it and make a whole performance. But when it is somewhere in between I feel it lacks of something. It becomes empty in some way. I haven't seen other covers of yours, surely you have and they may be awesome. You have got a good voice.

Sorry for being critical but your rendition doesn't appeal to me at all. Your voice is plummy and affected in a topical way a teenaged boys sing nowadays. I do not like it but keep trying:)
