Same way you can get to King of the Mountain . I think Allure & maybe Oasis are the only Oasis class ships that have that sun deck that basically is not used. Too hot & windy. Probably why the newer ships added that space to the Solarium.

I sailed to Alaska on the Legend in 2019. Almost the exact same ship as the Spirit. Minor cosmetic differences. Going back to Alaska on the Spirt in June.

The Carnival Spirit had the best gluten free pizza & had buffalo mozzarella so I could have a pizza.

Going on the Encore March 2024. Glad to see that the Garden Cafe and The Local are just as good as on the Bliss! Cagney's is a favorite of mine (always medium rare!) but find that the Teppanyaki is so loud, it gives me a headache, but the food is very good. Overall, the only so-so meal I've had on any NCL ship was at Ocean Blue.

I would say that depends on the type of cruiser. For me, it's weaker than the Royal Princess or HAL Pinnacle. For others, it's the best. For me, they forgot about lounges so it doesn't deliver. The Royal Princess class ships have so many of them as does HAL compared to really no interior lounges on this ship. They delivered with a variety of restaurants. 4 attractive ones for the MDR and a lot of attractive specialty ones with a really elevated one in the Danile Boulud. They have the familiar Cafe al Bacio. They totally improved the theater. The Club is a nice nightclub and has a lot of great tech but it doesn't have the ambiance of a swanky lounge for dancing and socializing. The Martini/Bar Grand Plaza is a hub area but it doesn't substitute for a stand alone lounge. It has that Edge area and that's like a secondary show lounge combo restaurant combo small group area for bands. The ship is super chic so it's disappointing about the lack of nice lounges. It needs one on the observation deck and at least one more somewhere on the ship. It does have bars though and outside lounges that are wonderful.

We went on the carnival Spirit from Sydney in 2015 and the food was AWFUL.

My mom and I went on this ship back in 2010 and I wanted to see it again for a bit of nostalgia. We had a great time and the ship was lovely. Very good tour. Thanks!

Honestly I found that the pizza pirate was nasty when I tried it in 2019. But that’s just my opinion. I’m excited about the new MDR menu they’re rolling out this fall!!

Thank you for this great tour! I'll be going on my first cruise ever (after 6 decades walking this Earth) in a couple of month on the Carnival Freedom for my daughter's wedding cruise, so this was very helpful and informative. I wasn't sure what to expect, but now I'm looking forward to it!

One of my favorites is the Indian buffet changing every day, Garden cafe always a favorite. And getting fresh squeezed orange juice for $3 is a super bargain. Going again on the Encore, 7 days to Alaska from Seattle late September..

This guy is full of s*** So picky Dude if you can do better cooking and preparing food then STAY HOME! I can't understand why some cruisers are so picky and can't appreciate the simple fact that they are even on a cruise. It's about relaxing and having fun. If the food is your problem then don't eat! Or don't go and cook at home! Some people really get stupid about the food. Unless they serve you s*** on a plate then you should complain! Otherwise Be thankful, Grateful, and Blessed, Not everyone can afford or even go on a cruise!

How busy would you say that area was? We booked the square 5211 next door.

I was hoping to watch a video that would be informative and helpful, but you are sadly such a negative person. I never comment on CZcams videos but these reviews were all very negative and rude. Your food palette seems to be very basic and that should be taken into account by all viewers. I truly hope you weren’t as rude to the employees as you were when talking about your meals. I’m sorry you are such an unhappy person and I hope something meets your unreasonable expectations some day.

enjoyed these videos.we are on the Encore in september to alaska. we did the breakfast at o'sheehans THE LOCAl everyday.the last day we ate at taste and loved it for breakfast. we would have lunch at the buffet. pizza, salad,fish or chicken fingers were our favorites.cagneys was our favorite speciality restaurant.did not like la bistro

Thanks for sharing! I was on the Apex a few months ago and one of the things I found odd was that the Crew had use of the same amenities as the guest. For example, I'd be up in the cafe eating and meanwhile sitting two seats down was the blackjack dealer that just took all my money an hour before 😂 I even was using the fitness area and some crew were working out as well. Thought it was real strange. Now I haven't been on a cruise since 2008 prior to that, so I'm not sure if it's a new thing? Or something with this class of ships? This was my 16th cruise and from my understanding, the crew always had a separate area (below) to have their meals. Don't mean to come off as an elitist, just found it interesting that - as a paid guest - I had to wait in line behind employees to get my food. If that's the case, maybe I should just apply for a cruise job instead of paying each time 😂
