Block by hand not with buffer. You probably wont notice on the bar but it will be uneven and low and hi spots.should be ok on bar. Also you put filler straight over pain .another no no

Been spray painting for over ten years. The most important thing you can do for rattle cans other than shaking properly is heating the paint up. Will completely eliminate any orange peel you get from cheap paints. Sit in a bucket of hot water or use your heat gun if you only need to heat one can at once.
