I have taped the national finals team roping and I have watched the headers loop and they catch both horns at the same time. They do not rope right horn then the left horn. I have watch their loop frame by frame.

If you have a figure 8 in your rope I would sum it up to bad management of your rope. If you build your loop and all right youll never get a figure 8.

I have a horse like that. I love that horse. He doesn't get hot, and you can rope a bunch of steers and he is calm ,and doesn't get excited from the 1st steer or 30th.

what do you do for a "punchy" heel horse. I don't have a whole lot of money to go out and buy another horse but it makes it hard to finish my delivery and keep good posture when they punch on their front end at the bottom of their stop
