I saw a whole bucket of oyster shells at the restore the other day and never thought to get them now I wish I had. I wonder if they’re still there lol five bucks apiece I’d be rich no wonder these people I wouldn’t buy that for five dollars not even from my son‼️

How do you assure you don’t have air bubbles? I don’t see you use a heat gun or heat to dissipate air bubbles. My apologies if you have already addressed this I just didn’t see it when skimming through the comments. Your work is beautiful!

These are gorgeous! If you don't use all your Modge Podge bubble mixture can you seal it to use later? I definitely want to try those bubbles but don't want to waste supplies. Glad I have about 150 oyster shells since you keep giving me ideas! You have become my favorite craft channel! I have been decorating oysters to make napkin rings for Christmas gifts. That is another idea of what you can do with them.

Good morning, I absolutely hate wearing a respirator. I see that you don’t wear one. I’m curious if you think that is harmful or not. From what I’m looking at they don’t say that on their directions that you need to wear respirator to have a good air flow.

What drill bit do you use? I’ve been using my Dremel to drill. My shells with it constantly breaks.

Do you clean your shells with muriatic acid followed by water? A recall a video from a lady in Sarasota who did a CZcams video on how to clean shells. It beats lighter fluid.

I would suggest you strain your Floetrol (panty hose around opening works) before adding to your paint. A bunch of blobs came out and that’s just going to cause problems later on also instead of using the nail board, I just put bamboo skewers down thru a styrofoam or paper plate-into blocks of oasis foam and then set it on top of a Lazy Susan so that I can get all around my ornaments And I can easily reuse the drips paint:)
