Tinsley Gyasi personally I don’t think so! I never experienced anything unsafe. There was some incidents around every now and then however neither I or any of my friends experienced anything sooo I would say no.

nah I lived in BC and I didn't get waitlisted. They did have to convert some lounges to quad rooms in the other res halls though

This video could not have come at a better time !! I recently got admitted and I am considering choosing this theme, but I have a few questions. Are the retreats free (if not, how much were they and where to)? How is the class you’re supposed to take ? How is the dynamic here (everyone is friendly and very social vs having to make the effort to meet and talk to people)?

Berkeley has been making good progress for the Latino community. I was admitted four months ago and found community in my honors cohort and the Latinx and Chicanx development center. And during pre-orientation, they have a group called Raices (roots) which is entirely made up of Latinx and Chicanx mentors and students. Definitely apply!
