An, neurotypicals, a rare species! xD Or maybe us neurodivergent folks just flock together! aha I do have the benefit of having an academic in my life, seeing their work up close allowed me a perspective I would have never imagined. Their work can be just as precarious as an artist's! x'D That said, I began working on this anxiety by deciding to take a short course at uni. Curso livre, em Português. It was just a few classes, on a single subject, but I did get to go into the classroom and hand in an assignment. I would need like, half an hour after each class, hyperventilating, just to calm back down xD But I really wanted to do it, and it was a good first step. I'd be happy to talk about all this in more detail privately, if you'd like ^^ I'll have to make a storytime video about my time as a touristic entertainer aha The admission exams consisted of a written exam with a section on audio stuff, one on maths, one on music theory (with listening exercises) and one on English. My weakness was maths, but I managed to still get the highest grade! Because I am over 23 years old, I got to do the interview and practical exam regardless of my written exam grade. On the interview they looked at my cv, asked a few questions about my motivations, and did the practical exam, which was just listening to a couple pieces of music and repeating the melody and marking the beat. I'll never stop singing :3 so new covers are on the way! Thank you for the kind comments and support <3

Hello Augusto! Unfortunately I haven't had the chance to try out the Ka-PWTe model, so I cannot personally vouch for it. Both these instruments are still considered "budget", so their main issues are usually in the quality control department. Some ukuleles of the same line will be flawless, and some will have sharper frets, or something like that. I'd say they're probably fairly equivalent in terms of quality, but after reading some random reviews online, I'd still lean towards reccomending the Kala Ka-TE. I've been playing mine for years, I've flown with it, I've put a few different sets of strings on it, and I've never been disappointed. It sounds lovely, it plays lovely. I'd buy another one just like it if I ever needed a replacement! I hope this helps you make a decision <3 cheers!
