Id respect you but it seems like you never actually did construction seems like you got handed a gc job and for that you’ll always rely on people and be clueless to there mistakes before inspection. Fire blocking is day 1 for a beginner framer you shoulda caught that. I stil frame homes while I also build homes.

I'm going to slightly disagree with you on your second point about college. It's not practical depending on the university that you go to. My major in undergrad was a mix of business and engineering. Therefore, I didn't have that many Gen Ed classes to take outside of maybe Freshman English and the one required PE class that every Drexel student has to take. I took Intro to Weight-training, and I still use what I learned to this day. All my required business and engineering classes were worth it for me.

Good job on the cleaning the mower before listing it up for sale. WAYYYYYY too often people list stuff for sale that looks like it was run through a septic system and still want astronomical amounts. When cleaning even at a car wash would cost less than $10.
