Repost from SCAA Minnesota chapter election commission. SPECIAL RELEASE FROM THE ELECTION COMMISSION SCAA MINNESOTA CHAPTER. Last Saturday the 29th of October, 2022, the Election Commission declassified the information that led to the postponement of the October 15th, 2022 elections of the SCAA Minnesota Chapter in a special called meeting. The COMMISSION again wants to thank you for your support and patience for always getting involved in making Sinoe County what we want her to be in the Liberian society. In the dying minutes to casting ballots, the COMMISSION received series of calls from prominent members of the Tarjuawon Association in the Americas to complain the conduct of the most front runner in the person of Mr. Arthur Teah and the complaint aledged that Mr. Teah single handily embezzled the money belonged to the Association in the amount of little over $7,500.00 without consulting any official of the Association. The calls were accompanied by text messages to substantiate the claims and for the record of the Election Commission. Based upon the above mentioned, the Election Commission immediately summoned Mr. Teah for his side of the story, and he acknowledged and agreed to the fact that he embezzled the money. When questioned as to whether he has consulted any official to do what he did, he replied no, but did it on his own clear conscience since 2013 to 2014 and a penny of that amount hasn't been refunded. The Commission concludes in her final report that the major front runner in the person of Mr. Arthur Teah for the presidency for SCAA Minnesota Chapter has been disqualified and not qualified to hold any elected position in the SCAA Minnesota Chapter until full settlement is made by Mr. Teah to the Tarjuawon Association in the Americas. That the Commission opens her doors to new candidates for the following positions: 1. President 2. Vice president 3. Secretary General 4. Champlin 5. Treasurer 6. Financial secretary 7. Chapter Representative to National, and 8. Parliamentarian The Commission also please to announce that the new date for Election is November 13rd, 2022. Ballots casting will begin at 12:00 noon and poll will close at 5:00 pm. Registration fees are followed: President........ $30.00 VP......................$15.00 Chapter Representative $30.00 and all other positions are $10.00. There will also be food sales beginning 11:30 am don't worry about lunch. The reports and decisions by the Commission were endorsed by the body and Executives of the SCAA Minnesota Chapter in the meeting. Thanks
