Dark lipstick shades like burgundy, deep wine, muted red tones, warm toned dusty pinks, dark purples and browns and even black lipstick looked the best with chocolate skin. Light nude shades looked ashy on dark chocolate skin.

Great review of reds. You look great. But, consider a little bit less foundation. Looks kind of greasy and your skin is pretty. No need to cake it on. Lighter touch and you would be perfect.

I bought the trio because an African American lady who happened to be my complexion and was in the store, bought it and I copied what she did. Needless to say, I've been a fan of Mac ever since.
