Sorry I'm late, but no, I don't believe so, but IIRC it's too close to the prior enemy to do a charged hit so there's no reason to make the hit harder by jumping.

Chain of Memories is a Nostalgia trip for me. I always wondered if this stuff was even possible. God bless your sanity for such a commitment. Come to think of it, doesn't Reverse/Rebirth not actually have deck edits, and only runs on Preset decks that you can't even edit?
Reverse/Rebirth does have the deck edit, but they don't let you change it because of the pre-made decks the game give you for each world.
