Yes that is a good way to approach it. I guess that is my approach sometimes. Some of my pistols are completely different in so many ways making it complicated, but sometimes it can make it fun as well.

@@Heteachethmyhandstowar Agree -- it would be fun to shoot something besides Glocks. I'm certainly not a Glock fanboy, but I was forced to carry Glocks for decades, and now I can't find anything that is as reliable and as comfortable. I'd love to try a Bul Armory or Staccato or other 2011-style handgun, but I'm hesitant to drop that much $$$ knowing that everytime I've tried something new, I always went back to Glocks.

BUL Armory gives you a high quality product for reasonable pricing. I just hope the Ported and Comped version come in around $2750 - $2999 with completely no MIM parts.

I just sent the guy the barrel and told him what gun I had. This is what came back. I was afraid it would affect velocity and not work as well. Velocity is not affected much, and it shoots super flat. I can't say which is better. People think if ports are near the end, it is more effective,but forget if it is near the chamber, it has more gas to bleed and longer to bleed gas. I guess the guy knew what he was doing. I really don't think there is a huge difference. The ports are not are far forward as they may look. They are centered mostly, and it is a long barrel.

@@MrDucatiV4 I have not seen a durability test between the two or torture test. I think the glass reticles and battery life are all pretty close.

Yeah, I can't find any torture tests to confirm the justice two is less durable than an SRO or 507 comp. The glass, reticle, and battery life are well within 10% as good as the 507 comp, and that is all up for debate by the users. They both advertise 50000 hours. The Glass and reticle look almost identical to my eyes.

Yeah, stage 4 was bad. I hit non threats on 5 and 6 I think I might could have avoided if I was not in my head so much.

​@@Heteachethmyhandstowar Last weekend was my time to hit the no-shoots. Luckily I managed to miss them all yesterday. I realized while reviewing videos last night that on stage 6 the RO called my time as 27.03, but the timer picked up my slide & trigger pull and ended up recording a time of 38.something. That knocked me down a couple places overall in CO. I don't really care, aside from my ego.

I will try doing that if I ever get monetized. Doing all that work for free is kind of difficult. I love sharing my experiences and knowledge with you all, but once it gets too complicated, you have to ask for something in return for all the work. I do need to learn that timeline stuff eventually.

That sounds good. Yeah, if we had the perfect competition for each individual, we would have a million leagues, I guess. A few of the guys I shoot with have been frustrated with the amount of thought it requires to shoot each stage efficiently. Seems a little more based on strategy than skill accuracy or speed. I could change my mind on this a little as I gain more understanding. I just thought IDPA was created for the person who conceal carries to shoot more realistic scenarios and train under pressure. I feel like the league takes the complex rules, puts twists on them to make more complex stages that are very unrealistic in nature.

I've not been feeling great this week. I may see if I get to feeling better. Is the stages up there a little more simple?

Well, I did not have to shoot the deer. I could have let it suffer. The light just made doing what I needed to do a little easier. I think if someone breaks in my door at night, it will be the same. Making what I need to do a little easier. There are other ways. I just think a weapon mounted light is the fastest and easiest. I agree if you have no training, you should spend money on bullets, not accessories .

I have some different issues with USPSA. Some good and bad on both sides.

I have to agree with what you say. Bug gun is a perfect example. What are the most popular guns in that division G26 and Sig 365. What is the standard cap for those 10, and 12 rounds. Don't handicap those guns. I will say when they started allowing the PCC division with the 30 rd mags, should be no limit if it fits the box for handguns.

That depends on one's opinion. I am glad we are free to follow our own preferences. I don't like shooting a gun with one hand and holding a flashlight with the other. I also believe 95% of shooters will lose accuracy by doing so.
