I’m watching Vampire Diaries now for the second time cause I never actually finished the series when it first came out. I am HEARTBROKEN to find out that the writers chose Elena and Damon in the end. I mean I cringe watching any romantic scenes with Damon and Elena. It’s just wrong. Stefan truly was supposed to be her epic love. 💔

You can't change my mind "Stefan loved Elena because she was nothing like Katherine. Damon wanted Elena because she looked like Katherine" In the show, when damon got rejected by Katherine who he loved all of his life , he made his moves to make Elena fall in love with him so he could have her by his side. On the other hand, regardless of how much Katherine loved Stefan he never loved her, he always loved Elena :)))

For me it's always gonna be Stefan and Elena 😭 come on our lover boy Stefan deserved so much better ending after all the sacrifices he made for elena and all the people he loved. I don't hate Damon, it's just something about Stefan it's so godamn attractive. He cares so much about others he has a genuine heart literally. Writers really did Stefan dirty.. They just made Stefan END UP with Caroline when he would die to have Elena by her side and he loved Elena untill the moment he died:') I'll always be a Stefan girl <3

I’ve been hesitant to watch this . But I’m glad I finally had the courage too , and I know it’s probably not worth much but I’ve been planning on writing a fanfiction that brings back Stefan , Tyler , and Enzo and gives them and the series a satisfying ending

honestly season 1 just hit different it feels like a totally different show compared to the other seasons

I always thought it would be Stefan and Elena because they were sort of the anchor for vampire diaries. The main love story, however, seemed to revolve around Elena and Stefan as they were kindred spirits. I'm very disappointed that the plots and the relationships between the characters are different from LJ Smith's books. The relationship between Stefan and Elena was handled very poorly by the writers, as they had an incredibly deep and meaningful relationship but In season two, their relationship changed due to Caroline's transformation into a vampire ( personally I don't understand why the writers made Stefan help Caroline in her transformation when it didn't concern him, I think it was a plot from the start to keep stefan away from Elena) In the books, Caroline is a secondary character and in the series, we only see her, in addition I find that she steals the spotlight from Elena because Julie Plec made sure that her character had a better development in the series , to the detriment of others. Elena was a luminous person with good qualities in the first 3 seasons but then she got dark and annoying and she didn't end up with Stefan as the Vampire Diaries director had planned.

I was so hurt that I stopped watching TVD after their break up. Stefan was so good to her and she also waited for him she tried her best but when he came back to her she choose Damon.. I hate him.
