Bryan Ferry is a singer, songwriter and the author of Roxy Music, with whom he wrote and recorded eight acclaimed albums. The group created a sound and image that pioneered new territories for pop and rock music. By setting trends rather than following them, Roxy Music became all that their creator had predicted and more.
Bryan Ferry’s solo records have always been major events, for critics and fans alike. Ferry’s musical identity and creative signature is both super-modern and indisputably classic. Regarded as the living embodiment of the glamorous, romantic, restlessly enquiring songs that he wrote, he is widely celebrated as one of the most innovative and influential recording artists of all time.

Roxy Music, tsja, laat ik kort zijn, wanneer ik afvlieg naar de hemel, ja, dan zal er 1ding zijn waar ik spijt van zal hebben, en dat is dat ik de zoete tonen van Roxy niet meer zal kunnen horen. En de vervoering die genadeloos toeslaat niet meer zal voelen. Waar ik ook ben Roxy 'klopt' altijd,en dat terwijl het eigenlijk toch redelijk moeilijke muziek is. Geen hapklare brok dus, voorgemalen blikvoer, de grauwe uitzichtloze rommel zoals de 'scherm generatie' die consumeert. Geef een beat, klets en rijm wat door elkaar en door de muziek heen en kijk daarbij vooral boos, en de consumptiekleuters vreten het zeker. Dat wordt voor hen dan ook een eenzame laatste vlucht.;)
