I am fortunate to have been born in 1957 in Barcelona, so I know what was to walk ramblas before 8 am with no people around, to go into the cathedral and listen to the silence, and in July, August the city was a quarter of the people since most left the city on vacation and now I do not want to visit Barcelona as far I am concern it has been destroyed, again lucky to have grow up when the world had not a clue of its existence
thank you brother for sharing your experiences.🙏🙏🙏 I'm currently an architecture student but thinking about switching paths, i would say the deadline and the sharing ideas with people are my biggest fears. i procrastinate a lot and i feel shameful after being judged on my ideas(they means a lot to me)
also health issues because of the workload from school. are these points valid enough for me to leave? i guess i like architecture but i dont know if i love it. would love to hear your thoughts🙏
It depends on a lot of things, especially location. If you're in the US, being an architect for the majority of people will be managing a team, managing consultants, and managing clients, reviewing designs and documents, mentoring younger staff. You just need to be realistic with yourself - do you love architecture enough to work the long hours, or are you ok with not advancing if you're not willing to work the hours required?

Well, one error, you mentios the municipal library which actually it's not the municipal one own by Bilbao city, located in the old Towns, instead it's the Vizcaya Provincial or Foral Library, how it's named, owns by the province of Biscay.

I hate to be an architect. I worked in 3 countries so far and i didnt liked it anywhere. You have to work long hours for low salary. And the nature of the job... im getting sick of Archicad and the shitty tasks. I feel like i need to change carriers otherwise i will have health issues. I hate it so much...
Is there any specific parts of the job that you do enjoy doing, maybe you could try to switch roles or make a career shift?

Exceptional 💛 Bro what would be some top books & tips to make big in career as a hvac fresher engineer in Aec construction industry or in general to achieve maximum success by becoming a generalist or a specialist as they say ? What should be the correct approach towards increasing our value as employee when money is the only goal ??
I can't speak specifically to the engineering field, but generally to increase your own value you need to make yourself irreplaceable to your company. Outside of that, looking for paid overtime and switching to new companies every so often are ways to increase your pay

@@DoubleTee2 It okay 😊 Also Hvac mep field is not purely engineering it's a part of Architecture engineering construction industry working for air conditioning projects. If you find anything worth sharing or making videos involving the use of software's like revit autocad or design construction methods do share 👍

It is to bad you don’t have subtitles underlining the places you mention unless you have a superb memory and an retail the information 6OU give. The places you mention are absolutely worth visiting. I’ll have to get a book that highlights the places you mentioned.
I don't have subtitles, but you can check the description for time stamps of each attraction plus the name of the attraction. Hope that helps!
7:07 Those tracks aren't old at all xd. They're from 2004 when the newer Trams started service in Barcelona :) Also, the C in Ciutadella is pronounced as an S (same with the Ç at Plaça Espanya) But those are minor errors, great video :)
