It's possible the devs of the mod forgot or didn't properly implement the new Night spells with the same ability as Night Comet to be "invisible". Would be why Malenia doesn't dodge Comet but dodges the others on cast, like any NPC would.

start with the essence remnant and pick the FP regen talisman, then go to where the turtle tali is in vanilla to get another essence remnant and then pick the one that gives 10% fp cost reduction for spells/incants it makes the early game as a caster WAY WAY easier! i also end up just using the FP AND hp regen shards for my physick flask since they both will last 3 mins... this way i dont have to wait long

He could’ve blessed infused the shield so that while he’s blocking it’s slowly healing him, also put the sun princess ring on and you just slowly heal damage you take while blocking

so far the best summons for this class are the greatshield guys you find in the underworld city. summons 5 of them and they can tank AND they have a built in AOE taunt

I hate that he didn't realize the strength of the farron Greatsword is that you can switch between combo moves and normal moves at any time. I finished the game with it because bosses just hit over your head instead of you. You don't spam the combo. You weave it in

It's not a given that an Enchanted Spear will always outdamage the Moonlit Butterfly Horn; it depends on the mix of thrust defense and magic defense. The enchanted spear's physical AR is too low to contribute much against most bosses but the difference in magic AR means there's enemies that the horn can hit somewhat effectively that the spear can't (the formula is set up so your damage falls off a cliff if your AR is less than the matching Def.) Either way, the damage difference between them will generally be small, but the difference in range is noteworthy. Also if something is heavily resistant to magic you're not going to want to use either weapon so I don't consider that to be an argument in favor of the enchanted spear.

Lifehunt scythe is my favorite out of these, its bleed is so satisfying amd fast to get off

Honestly the two best go to either Quelaags Furysword or Chaos Blade. The self damage from the chaos blade is pretty inconsequential when it does such an insane amount of damage. The furysword is a good alternative to it. Offering really high range and dps with the drawback of blowing ass against fire resistant enemies. Obsidian Greatsword and Moonlight Greatsword are also great but are tail cuts not boss soul drops so thats kinda different to me
