Did you used to work at a pizza shop?😂
Yea, I'm usually shy about telling people, I worked in the kitchen at Chuck E Cheese in my early 20s. one time my manager had me wear the rat suit to bring game tokens to a party table, and a bunch of kids ganged up on me, tripped me, than started to kick me in the head while I'm on the ground. LOL no wonder I've decided to move to the woods.😆😅🤣🍕
That pizza looks awesome. Great job!
Thanks, you know long I've be trying, LOL finally nailed it. 🍕🐢🍕💪🍆
Interesting, I haven't tried that. Blessed Days Noah...
After years of trying, I think I finally got it, Thanks DC
Good stuff.👍
Have a Blessed Day DC. 🍕🍕
Good stuff. Throw some smoke chips in the grill for a smoky pizza...it's good!
That sounds Awesome, I'll Try that next time, Thanks Gregory. 😄🍕👍
Homemade pizza is the best!
Most definitely, It took me a few years of practice and experimenting, but I finally got it. Thanks
❤️
Have a Blessed Day 🌻🌻🌻
Their mom will show up leaving there
Leave the Warren alone, momma comes once or twice a day. Don’t tell the predators where the babies are hidden
Yea, I put them back best I could, I'll keep an eye on them. Thanks for stopping by.
They're so precious.
Good deal Noah...
Thanks Gregory, I can already tell a difference for the best. Have a good weekend.
@@noahsarkansashomestead You too
Good stuff a beekeeper should always feel comfortable with their level of PPE working bees. A comfortable beekeeper makes for a more at ease beekeeper, a more at ease beekeeper makes for more calm bees. In my opinion. Blessed Days Noah.
That reads almost like a poem. LOL
Noah you are going to like having a vented jacket, it'll cut down on the armpit stings.😂 I watch their channel, they seem like great people, that's about the going price for a vented jacket. I'd shop from them I lived close. Nice hood I want a hood that does that. Blessed Days buddy...
Thanks DC, I feel more comfortable with them all ready.
You are the bee whisperer! Hives are looking wonderful!
Thanks, maybe one day I still have a lot to learn. Have a good weekend.
❤ you cuz! Miss u!!
Hey Caroline, Hope every thing is going good for you. Yea, we haven't had any family party's in a while. It means a lot to me knowing your watching my videos. Thanks and take care. ❤
Add a bay leaf or two, and some whole pepper corns, what I do for mine
Hey Grant, Hope all is well. I didn't think about bay leaf and pepper corns but I think I have some. Thanks for the tip. 😁👍
Hey there Noah!..this sounds pretty interesting...hope all is well on your homestead! By the way..snakes HATE mothballs, but they ARE poisonous so you can use them in perforated containers or what not to repel them somewhat..but don't let them get in the soil...I had a three foot blacksnake in my kitchen the other day! He came in a hole in our bathroom which needs fixing..I chased him out and he went back in that hole ....never thought that would happen. A neighbor told me to use mothballs to repel them...so they don't nest under there! I also plugged up the hole lol....have good one!
Hey Gregory, I bet that was a crazy day to find a snake in the house. LOL Yea, I will have to try the moth balls around the chicken pen, especially now we also saw a copper head snake in there too. Thanks for the tip and have a Blessed Day.
🤨never been a fan of pickled eggs, I know a lot of people like them.👍Oh that snake was eating good, I have always wondered how people pickled eggs. Blessed Days Noah...
Dang that snake kill most of my quail, but learned a big lesson. Yea, kinda new to pickled eggs, trying to find ways to preserve are food. Thanks DC.
That's exciting...right on!
Thanks for watching. 😁
Hey Brad, Thanks for stopping bye, Stay safe in this southern heat.
Nice looking bumblebee, Awesome your first honey from them. Grats on the jacket, step by step. Blessed Days Noah.
Thank you DC, I love how beekeeping so multifaceted. It might hook me for a life time. LOL
Nice panel tunnel, what do you have growing on it? That's the 1st time I have seen a kettle like that, way cool. Smart try a small amount first.👍
I planted some muscadine grape, It made it very heavy, and I had to put a pole in the middle. It makes great shade. Yea, those kettles are from Ireland, they were made for poor fisherman. Have a Great day DC. 😁
I don't know about everyone else, but sipping a mild laxative in the morning isn't really my thing.😄😄But that is a pretty color for tea. Wish we could smell it 'cause I do love the way chicory smells.
I was just doing more research on chicory, its has a huge list of health benefits; Anti- inflammatory, immune boosting, to liver detoxing, just to name a few. Thanks for stopping by and Stay Safe with this Arkansas Heat. 😁
Good idea feeding the m the greens. Did you know you can grow comfrey and feed it to chickens? It grows fast and a LOT, but, you HAVE to contain it! don't put it in with your garden or it will take over.
I've heard of comfrey being a great survivor crop, I'm going to have to try it. Thanks
@@noahsarkansashomestead Yes..my wife makes a tincture from it. It takes down the inflammation in my back when I get arthritis flareups and it heals bones quickly! They used to call it "Boneknit". You can feed other livestock comfrey as well for overwintering!
Hey Noah! Good to see you well.
Thanks, trying to stay safe in this heat. Have a great day.😄
@@noahsarkansashomestead Oh I was wondering how hot it was...I lived in NC and it was always around 100 degrees 100% humidity round about now. Keep cool buddy!
Yea, 100 deg and 100% hum is about right. had a little relief with the cool front tropical storm beryl brought, but back to being hot tomorrow.
Cool! We are thinking about getting chicory seeds from strictly medicinal catalog.
Hey there, I haven't heard of strictly medicinal, I'll have to look into them. I got my seeds from a local farmer co-op. Have a Great Day. 😁
@@noahsarkansashomestead yes, they will mail you a catalog if you request one. Strictly medicinal seeds.
😮 dammit man 😂🥵🥵
Kinda scared myself for a minute,
nice collection of birds.
Thanks, I've been trying a few different breeds over last 5 yrs. to see what works in our climate. Looking forward to seeing how well the black Australorps do in the summer heat, their supposed to be hot weather birds from Australia. Guess we will see. 😁
Hello Noah. I am near Mena. My roma tomatoes got huge this year also. Lots of Summer Squash, tomatoes, beans, Spagetti Squash. Blueberries also doing good. We need rain here. Nice garden there.
Hi there, that's Awesome your garden is doing well. especially now with food prices so high. Thanks for watching and commenting. 😄
Looks good! Those carrots will taste spectacular I bet.
Thanks, I wasn't expecting that carrot to look like that, took me by surprise. LOL. Thanks for watching and commenting. 😄
@@noahsarkansashomestead I love seeing your progress and success and am praying for a peaceful life for you buddy..keep it up!
Looking awesome, like a hidden garden, its there but some folks might not know its there!
Hey there, glad to see you in the comments. I think I saw something about the weeds can help break up and aerate the soil. I think it was "No till Planting". So it helps me feel better about not pulling weeds. LOL 😁🤣
🤣I'm not sure who is more surprised when you say Hi, us or you.😂 😲You are going to have a lot of tomatoes.🤨What is chikery? Be sure to keep the potatoes covered good, if enough of the skin turns green they become toxic, is my understanding. There is always next year, it has taken me 3 years designing and building my garden. Blessed Days Noah...
Yea, it's also taken me 3 years to get were I'm at. Chicory is a coffee substitute, made famous by the French during Napoleons coffee embargo. Yea, we drink "Cafe de Monde" that New Orleans coffee and chicory brand. If you try it, don't get to far away from the bath room, it will clean you out.
thank you for muting the power tools and not adding stupid music.
and Thank you for the helpful comment, but honesty, if I knew how to put music in my early videos, I would have. LOL 😁🤣🎵
Harris Joubert has a vid on an interesting way of a possible fix on a laying worker hive. It is titled something like " fixing troubled hives." If nothing else, it's a good listen. Good luck.
Thanks for the tip, I'll check out their video. Thanks for watching and commenting. Have a Great Day. 😄
Growing some nice hives , keep them strong for the winter , good luck.
Thanks Brad, If I keep going I might make one of my goals next year, which is to send a small bottle of honey to all my family for Christmas.
They seem to give us what we don't expect a lot of times. Oh she got ya good the underarm isn't ever fun, I'll bet you ended up moving the queen. It happens.
Afternoon Noah, good to see ya and your girls. Well if something happened to the queens and they got damaged, you can always pull a frame of eggs from the other colony. My understanding for a worker to turn laying worker takes a while, sorry I'm not sure how long but it's normally a good while I think. Blessed Days Noah.
Thanks DC, I think I worry more than should because I'm still new. Have a great day.
If this is around 2-4 in the after noon, these are young bees doing orientation flights. This many bees means that your hive is doing well!
Thanks, I feel better now. I'm still trying to learn all their mannerisms. I started last April with a nuc. So I'm still a little new, just a year in. Yes, I think that was early afternoon, I just worry about robbing. Thanks again for watching and for the helpful comment.
@@noahsarkansashomestead No problem, Its great to see people getting into beekeeping!
👍🏻
I guess, I was just playing around with this one.
Sorry ya'll I got my chicken breeds confused, The gray ones are Barred Rock not buff orpingtons and the black ones are black australorps. Thanks everyone for watching, I do enjoy bringing this kind of educational content to everyone.
Grats, always fun.😁Nice pen area.
Yea, I hope these quail aren't more trouble than there worth, it will be an experiment. LOL 😁
You need to get some quail egg scissors.
Thanks, I'm a total noob on quail. That's an Awesome idea, I just looked up quail scissors. I was wandering on how I crack those little eggs. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Sweet
Thanks for watching and commenting 😄

Nice
Hey, Thanks for dropping in. Ya'll know them summers can be brutal. Stay COOL 😎
"an off-grid pool" > *a kiddie pool in the woods
Basically yes. But if you lost power in the city during a heat wave and had no A/C, I'm sure you would appreciate a kiddie pool. So I guess you don't have to be in the woods.
Good luck with the new chickens , hopefully you can get a hold of some.👍
Thanks, I always have luck at the "hillbilly swap meet" where you can find anything. LOL 😁
@@noahsarkansashomestead Good job brother hopefully one day I visit you on your homestead and finally meet you since last time we met I was little and I keep up with your videos and very impressive transitions and videography. great video buddy👍🏻
Thanks Brad, for the encouragement 😁
Nice and sunny.😁looks like it was a great day.👍
Thanks, It was a great day, feels good to finally get my hives going strong.
Fellow AR off grid homesteader here. The Arkansas Black Apple Trees have done well on our homestead in North Central. Perennials are my favorite. I didn't know pinion pine grew here. Many giant Pinions in Colorado where we were called from. So glad we did. You have a beautiful place, hope you have a blessed day!
Cool to meet an off grid local. Been thinking more about the Ozarks, I'm on the edge of the Ouachita mts./ river valley. I bought the pinion pine seeds online, I don't know how well they will do. Thanks for watching and sharing. 😄
