Hey man, I don't really get all the hate this new guy is getting, I think he's doing a pretty good job. Layne's dead, it's f' cking drag for sure that happened, but there are a lot of people who didn't get to see the band when they were hacking it out back in the day in the Seattle scene, and who like the music. Someone's gotta sing it so that the people who are younger or who live in another continent get to experience these awesome tunes, and I don't think this guy is doing that bad of a job at all. Instead of trying to copy Staley's performances, he executes the songs in his own style, but without missing a note. In my opinion his belt-outs are legit, hitting those in tune is not a given. It's kinda like Sublime. I really wasn't into the come-back when they were doing it with Rome, but now that they're going at it with Bradley's son, and the sound is _right_ , I'm all for it. Every new young fan that AIC or Sublime has gotten because of these come-back gigs with new vocalists is a win in my opinion. The list-pop of today sucks so bad, that every gen Z we get digging the dirty of 90's is all good in my books.

People gotta realize that if layne was alive he wouldnt be able to sing his parts as good as duvall can. Laynes voice was already leaving him towards the end, and he'd be nothing but a shadow these days

I love that the bass drum has “ LS & MS” on it! Everyone always mentions Layne and talk about how his death impacted the grunge scene .Which it did tragically.The fact that Mike Starrs initials are there too makes me so happy! I adored Mike .Laynes death took such a grasp on Mike cause he blamed himself .It wasn’t his fault and I wish Mike would have got help to deal with it .Mikes death also made a big impact on grunge .I miss them both .If herion wasn’t ever around..think of all the ppl that would still be ! 🫶🤟🏽❤️‍🔥
