Tips For Lawyers
Registrace 9. 02. 2014
At some point in their career, every lawyer asks themselves this question: what's next?
Well what's next is that you need to keep growing. Keep learning. Keep improving. You need to find your sweet spot in legal practice.
All of your peers will know just as much law as you do when push comes to shove - so how are you going to distinguish yourself and your practice from theirs? Easy - through better interaction, greater client service, more effective marketing, more persuasive communication, and through your better skills as a lawyer.
That's why Tips for Lawyers exists.
Tips for Lawyers provides articles on leadership, management, writing, client relationships, marketing and the occasional bit of motivation. We also look at books and videos that, although not "law books", will be of interest to lawyers as they deal with major issues in lawyers' lives.

If you're a law student, you've developed a few survival strategies that were great while you were studying... but they are much less great once you hit real world legal practice in a law firm.
came here from “suits” lol
I like how other videos are heavy on the girlboss/finance bro aesthetic with hip hop blaring in the background. And then your video is just telling people “actually, it’s a lot of filing and reading each day.”
Do a review of Suits show?
how much do u make a year? genuine question
This is much better suited for my personality than being a doctor they are always on the line
🤨
STOP UR GONNA GET SUED
What kind of law do you specialize in?
I am not in law school yet. But i have this issue of starting. Like the introduction always gives me problem
The music is the cherry on top
Seems simple to me
Weirdly enough, this makes me want to be a lawyer even more. I went from pre-med to pre-law, I'd much rather do repetitive reading and writing since I love it anyways than to always have an adrenaline rush, trying to stay composed while rushing to help patients at a hospital.
Do you enjoy your job? Do you feel all of the stress and pressure is worth it in the end?
👏👏👏👏
The world doesn’t need another lawyer. I work with several ex lawyers…all left. My ex boyfriend was working for the state regarding child abuse cases. Quit and went to work for his family in manufacturing. My cousin was a divorce attorney and got really depressed and now works in some stupid industry that you don’t need a law degree for. The ones I work with are consultants trying to get businesses contracts with the government.
Just found this channel, absolutely love the content!!! Been mising an Australian perspective in the law profession
Taking a bus. Riding an elevator. Sitting in a cubicle. Drinking coffee by yourself. This has nothing to do with being a lawyer. 😂
Sadly, it is true.
I checked out/bumped into your Tiktok channel and saw that you're making great content.Do you have a business email? or should i just shoot you a dm?
For a person has you are , did you know few places like fast food you got minors working , and children inside playing got a play land inside . Love how direct you are in this episode😂
Great advice 😊
Рахмет!
This had me chuckling. Love the dry presentation and subtle humour. My family has a few lawyers in it and they pretty much say the same thing.
I have analyzed your CZcams channel, and I see that your channel is good, your videos are beautiful but you are not getting enough likes and comments and your subscribers and views are not increasing. If you want, I can increase your channel likes, comments, subscribers, and views and I will present you my best work. And I'll show you the work. I am a digital marketer and CZcams expert. First of all, I don't want money from you. I will do your work then you pay me, no problem. Best Regards Rob Miia
Lawyers are scum of all scum. Bottom of the bag. A whores toe nails have more honour. Heaving heard anything good about any lawyer.
I'd rather fucking kill myself than live like this.
This video is absolute gold. I'm not an attorney, but I have worked as an in-house contracts manager for over a decade. As I've grown more senior in my career, I've worked more closely with attorneys. I can tell based on their reactions that I sometimes have trouble staying in my lane, but I wasn't sure specifically what I was doing wrong or how to correct it. This video explained it perfectly. My problem stems from not looking at things in terms of billable hours. I would guess even in-house counsel has a similar mindset. What I thought was helping or going above and beyond I now realize is wasting time. This is an invaluable revelation for me. Instant subscriber. The algorithm got it right this time!
There’s a difference between positive and natural law. What makes the intellectual virtues complicated? Is it because game theory is part of economic behavior so therefore there are many strategies? The issue that I have with any legal fiction and social science is the fact that it appears to be about insanity rather than a sound mind and the rule of law. Too many assumptions and not enough facts.

Did anyone else think that sounded like every job?
