@@orangegibusgaming I know the feeling. I’m essentially having a planned eviction from my house of all my hobbies gearing up for having kids and such in a few years. Hence why I’m building my shop (more planned for that content wise). I talked the wife into a go kart because of how trash our backyard is right now due to my construction projects.

@@HartsPerformance got that right! They still haven’t fixed the problem 😜 There have been a few things I like on this compared to previous generations but it’s definitely a long way from 5.3’s of late.

@@DanteYanez-lj2dv agreed! I’ve seen 3D printed belt additions to the Insanity. I love the aesthetics of the insanity but the v twin is a lot more fun and easy to handle. This drill has always been unreliable, but what was interesting is my big Milwaukee impact wouldn’t turn it over past the compression drag - it would just try to tighten the bolt, regardless of the setting. A standard battery powered drill driver ended up getting it to pop off on the 2nd speed setting.

@@BlocksAndWrenches yeah I've tried a 1/4 impact with no success you need one of those two handle drills

@@jimmyboe25 for sure. I did end up putting a new engine on it due to the flywheel cup being bent up pretty bad and the dogs on the new pull start not engaging. @@farhanmohammed1059 clever idea! With it being an aluminum block that might work for debris from the steel bolts. I ordered some long cotton swab / Que tips to get all the way to the bottom and ensure no fluids are sitting.

Turn thr psi down for the tool. The compressor will last longer.

@@farhanmohammed1059 makes sense. It’s at like 120 or something. I only use to air tires and for this, don’t really need - nor does it last long anyways in the pancake compressor. Thanks. @@aarondoughty3752 is there a certain kind of attachment you’ve had luck with on a shop vac? Mine is the either slotted or round and both are too large to just vacuum the bolt hole - ends up pulling coolant from the block

@@ErikBricks thanks! It was definitely a financial gamble. I agree, and unfortunately it seems to be par for the course with them. The value is not there. The original concept would have been much better. I wish the Clone Wars era got the attention that the originals do. I plan to have future updates on this to try and make it more accurate to the movie and other references it has shown up in so be sure to subscribe! I’ve also got a huge roadmap to build a lego room in my new shop with some huge mocs and battle scapes related to Star Wars, Lego City, Halo and then various other projects I’ve got going more IRL.

The format looked better in a long non altered by YT Short format, but posting as a short messed it up and only showed 1/3 of the actual video image, if that makes sense. Would you like me to upload as a normal video as well? It’s been a little bit since making this so if you also have any questions on it specifically let me know. I’m going to move these to my shop in a few months and will better document that process.

@@BlindBandit762 yeah, for sure. Pretty impressive. In my review of them (diff video) I did show some feeding issues that the Insanity has if the belt is not as far back as possible when loading… And then the V Twin jamming up 2x during this lol. I do much prefer how you load the V Twin, similar to the Vulcan. I’ve got a Longshot CS-6 video coming out eventually of a similar range test. Needless to say; they all need more power.
