John Deere 2025r 2" rear wheel spacer install
In this video, I show how to install 2" rear wheel spacers on my 2022 John Deere 2025r. These spacers help to add stability to the tractor, especially on hilly terrain. As shown in the video, the tires do in fact clear the 60" MMM (mid mount mower). I chose to purchase the BRO-TEK brand because of the build quality. The part number is 60160410 and all hardware is included. The only thing that you need to buy separately is the blue thread locker (medium strength). Please be safe when jacking up your machine! Make sure that you chalk the front tires and use the appropriate jacks for support.

Gr8 video. Have you used it on any other vehicles paint. Any black vehicles etc. What is your opinion. Tkz!

Hello my friend. I got my ALH (skoda octavia 2002) 10000 km ago and the old owner put 15w40, I put 10w40 and I noticed 8000 km after light smoke coming out of oil dipstick and filling hole. I think 10w40 is too light for the car that's why it smokes! I noticed also some oil on the crankcase breather ends and EGR valve! Engine is runnig very good no problems at all! Please support and advice. what is your oil change interval?
I change my oil and filter with the recommended synthetic 5w-40 that's VW 505 approved every 10,000 miles (16,093 km).

One thing to be cautious about is after removing the bladé assembly from the arm is to be careful not to accidentally hit the arm as it will slam unto the windshield and with the spring loaded force there is no telling what damage that could do the windshield. Just saying
You're exactly right.
Why is your car so dirty? You should see my car…!
It's my daily driver, not a show car. It's typical for western Pennsylvania.
thanks man my painter left a streak of paint on the antenna base and I want to clean it up without crapping up the new paintjob
Glad I could help you. That would bother me too. I just had some bodywork done and there was over spray on my wheels and other areas. They did a terrible job with the prep work to say the least.
@@Corysdiyauto well sorry but I do feel comforted that I'm not the only one haha. Can't really complain about the job my guy did tho as he only asked for $700 (EU, Ro). But man...the damn OVERSPRAY lol, it was everywhere! Spent ages cleaning it up. One thing he really screwed up was having bugs in his booth apparently. 2 got on my driver door and 1 on the hood and the paint chipped. I'm glad he said he'd fix it "with some polishing". Gonna be awkward looking him dead in the eye and saying "I know you're trying to fool me, but here's money for fixing what you screwed up, and do it properly please", but I gotta do it. For $700 I'm happy as fuck tho. Hope you didn't pay too much yourself.
@rarespetrusamartean5433 - Thanks for sharing. I had rust repair done on the rockers on both sides, plus the hood was redone. I had the hatch replaced too, so my bill was over $3000. It's a lot, I know.

hi corey thanks for your video I have a leak but I am not sure if its the head seal or the head plug that is leaking but the diesel fuel leaks onto a bold just to the right of where the thermostat is. I hope its not the head seal its a job and a half.
Start with replacing the head plug seal first since it's the easiest. Hopefully that fixes it. I have a video of that too: czcams.com/video/qZak2dzN11s/video.htmlsi=rPHno594DYjs8B4Q
What about the filter, wonder...
Thank you!!
You're welcome!
Hey Corey, great video. Is there enough room to get under without the ramps?
Thank you. I don't think you can do it without ramps, but you can try if you're small.
Thanks for the video's Cory. Just picked up my 2024 3LT Blazer and didn't see much under the hood that looked the same as my 2012 Sierra.
You're welcome. Hopefully you are enjoying your Blazer. Yeah, these vehicles have changed a lot in the past 12 years!
Well done.. I've seen videos on here where they make a video but they don't really know how to do it correctly. Like not priming the filter, or making the job way more complicated then it needs to be.. torque wrenches, break cleaner to wipe stuff off rather then a simple rag wipe, or adding oil, starting it, pressure's up.. then shut it off, add oil, then have to restart even though it won't change the level, and they certainly wouldn't leave the hood open even moving 5' back and forth. Their so careful with everything I can't take it!! :) your video is like how I would do it... BTW nice 928S or S4 There
Thank you very much for the comment! Glad you liked the video. My 928 is an early base model (1979). Thanks for noticing it! 😃
Does it have to be a Mercedes wiper blade? I’m having trouble doing it the the Michelin blades
I never tried any other blade brands, so I don't know. I would think that there would be an aftermarket blade that would work.
Awesome thank you!
Thank you!!! Your style and paced video is perfect!
I appreciate that! Thank you.
@@Corysdiyauto I liked that you showed the full re-assembly process. So many tutorials leave you dead in the water by saying "assembly is simply the reverse of removal" when there's always more to it than that.
Thank you!

Excellent.. thanks
Thank you for including the socket sizes , going to change my wife’s oil and I like to have the tools I need at hand
You're welcome and good luck with the oil change.
Well done, but I think pinning the cable out rather than bending it is a better solution
That would mean modifying the wiring harness. Even if the pin breaks, a new switch is $5 at any scrap yard, or $50 new, and takes seconds to swap.
Did you drain some coolant from the radiator before doing this? I see in other videos they drain the radiator underneath and then start working, some drain coolant from EGR cooler and oil cooler.
No, I didn't drain any coolant. You can drain some first if you want. It wouldn't be as messy.
Hey did you have to buy the warning cancelling capacitors that the website offers for the lights ?
No I didn't. I never got any warnings either.
Do you recommend any other brands (besides AC DELCO) with easy installation?
I think Trico makes a good blade that's easy to install. The silicone blades last a long time compared to the traditional rubber. I know that they're more expensive, but I think it's worth it.
Excellent close up to the tricky bits, good lighting good focus, others I found were lacking, this was perfect.
Thank you so much
Thank you for this video. It was very helpful.
Glad you liked it.
Nice video. Having a hard time finding any replacement blades that fit that are not OEM.
Thanks. Yeah, they're not a common blade style unfortunately.
Thanks

Wait your supposed to have a hold down for the spair?? Mines just sitting in there
Yeah, it keeps the spare from bouncing around.
Obviously I'm no automotive engineer but why on gods green earth do you need that many wires going to a headlight switch? 😅
Haha, German engineering.
You consistently have some of the best videos on this model golf. Thank you for taking the time to make these. They are very useful!
Thank you. I appreciate it!
Hey man, where i can get the USA style lights from your front bumper, i really want it ,i m from europe, can you give me some keywords how exatcly is called? Thank you

@@Corysdiyauto yes, and can you give me a tip where i can drive the wires , when I switch to city lights to turn it on?
The side marker lights should illuminate when you turn the switch to the city light position.
@@Corysdiyauto thank you
You're welcome
I replaced mine and added ultra black gasket maker around it and it’s still leaking, I don’t get it. Only thing I could think of was the thermostat housing where the egr valve sits, but there would be coolant in the leak. I’m stumped
If you're 100% sure that the oil isn't leaking from that plug, then it could possibly be your VTEC solenoid seal that's bad. I don't know if you have a VTEC model Civic or not though. Just a thought.
Thanks, this is the most comprehensive removal video I have seen. That said, I replaced one of these before, and now, after many years I can't for the life of me figure out how I did it with no video. I just know it was a bitc#... to do. I read one site which said that 2001 didn't have factory auto door locks, and that they were aftermarket. Uhhh, no, my 2001 Civic EX 2 dr came loaded with factory power door locks (purchased new in June of 2001). Thank you, have the door apart, but for the life of me couldn't figure out how to remove the darn thing, this will help! Your efforts in documenting this are appreciated! (be careful about breaking the plastic tabs holding the rods in, already broke one in being so careful, they are brittle. Now in the middle of a job I have to order a new one!) 😁
Thank you for commenting. I'm glad that you found the video helpful!
how many litres of coolant did you refill after the job? cause I saw a big spill there.
It's been awhile since I did this, so I actually don't remember. It wasn't that much though.
Great video. Super straight forward.
Thank you
Great Stuff. I have a leak as you described and a gasket kit on the way. This video has given me the confidence to proceed! Excellent job.
Thank you very much!
you dont need to flush the entire coolant for this fix right?
No you don't.
My radiator fan just keeps going even when the car is off and not hot . Untill the battery dies. I have to unplug the fan while the battery is connected so it turns off . Is this caused by a faulty FCM? I feel like this just started after my coolant overflowed on it
That could definitely be the issue, yes.
@@Corysdiyauto thank you. And one more question . I just changed the radiator yesterday and I have very little coolant leaking out the bottom mount screw where the rubbers go in at the bottom and the little pin that drops in .
@sniperpaintcorrection6790 - I've never replaced the radiator in mine, so I'm not sure why you'd have a leak unless it's a defective radiator?
Install?
Install in reverse order of removal. I didn't create a video of that though.
Nice!
Thanks!
Hi! Thanks for the great and detailed instructions! I am up to this project on weekend. i had no change to obtain the safety bolt showed in your video (I only have the seal). I know a great disaster may follow if the head becomes completely off the pump. Would it be possible for you to measure the bolt so that I could utilise a bolt with same specs from a local shop? I really really would appreciate this and be grateful ever after.
The bolt is 55mm in length. Good luck with everything and take your time with it.
