I live in Seattle, and am experimenting with making immersive videos for fun. I started to enjoy watching these sorts of videos during the pandemic, when I couldn't get outside as much. I figure that someday, I might not be able to walk around or hike to some of my favorite places, and so I'm also preserving the experience this way.

Every year salmon return to spawn in Piper's Creek, in Carkeek Park, Seattle Washington. This year they were met with a series of new beaver dams. Need to slow down in some places with that camera. Making my head spin. Spinning around too fast. Other places good, nice and slow, even paused so you can see. Pretty good.

Haha, I notice that in my own videos I try not to record after heavy climbs. Do you have an exact location for the Octopus Tree? Looks incredible

Totally, for some context the heat was draining and the schedule was jam packed for 13 hours. Not to mention we're getting old and our knees hurt!

Really beautiful. Super nice camera angles with no talking- thank you! We love this section of Iceberg, both hiking and kayaking, but need to explore the caves and waterline more.

Yeah, we actually kayaked there the day I watched your vid. So many cool inlets and caves--tide was high so we stayed out, but were headed back. Nice to see the starfish return, right? @@hoodsnwoods
Awesome, yeah I tried going into this cave in a canoe at high tide once, but the rocks at the entrance were tricky. It's a beautiful area all around though. Yeah, I hope we see more star fish, and it's nice to see some again.@@petermcminn9508
