Where did you get that till?
Whenever i put in extra 0.50 on an item it turns into 0.53 or 0.55. How do i get rid of that??

Against my bette judgement, I went ahead and signed up for Clover. All of my equipment has arrived and I am now trying to set up my existing menus from TOAST POS in Clover. Again, this is the absolute worst video I've ever seen. Come to find out, Clover just SUCKS for restaurants. Doesn't have NEARLY the same functionality as Toast.
This is the dumbest video I've ever seen. I currently use Toast and interested in potentially switching to Clover to save money on processing. But I was worried the functionality on Clover would not be as robust as Toast. This video is terrible. Definitely will not be switching after watching this.

New to clover pro. And for the last two nights I can only add 4-6 tips and then it doesn’t allow it anymore. Tho day shift was able to enter their tips. Tried calling customer service and they didn’t help and gave me a number to call the following day. So we couldn’t close out till etc. plus we just opened. Have no tech support. I’ve watched every video I could find but there is no trouble shooting videos for the pro so the older models can’t help me because my screen does not look like it.

Clover is too expensive
Clover has 3 different versions. Starting from $380 all the way to $1,500. It depends on what type of a system fits your needs. Compared to full POS systems, it is very cost effective. Clover cannot be compared to square or Shopify. It is a different type of system, both software and hardware.

Great video! I have been assigned the task of revamping originally inputted items while the restaurant is closed for a week. Is there a way to link the Items and the Modifiers to stock items? IOW, if a Modifier is a side dish of Mac and Cheese, then how many boxes of elbow macaroni are deducted from stock? How much cheese is deducted from stock?
Thank you for the feedback, highly appreciate it. In regards to your question about inventory tracking. At the moment clover can only track stock to the item level. Meaning the modifiers wouldn’t be attached to any type of stock count. An ideal software for your particular situation would have a recipe builder. Meaning you could enter data such as weight of a particular ingredient used in modifiers/items. That weight would then be automatically deducted from stock. But if you search the Clover App Store you may find some apps that could make this possible. They have several apps, I would recommend taking a look there. @@basepayments8437 Thanks! They are telling me that I should have this feature if I was logged in as the owner. I'm sure about that but I am going to obtain owner access to find out. I've spent hours on the phone with Clover to try and figure this out.

The instructions from this video should work for the current clover mini as well. Plug your USB barcode scanner into the Clover mini HUB. Hope that helps.

Oh I see. I know that the camera on the clover can scan the barcodes printed on the receipts to bring up the transaction. Look to the bottom right of the clover mini screen and select the barcode icon. Once the camera image shows up on the screen try, scanning a barcode from an item and see if the Clover picks it up. Make sure you have the register app open while you scan the barcode.
