I have been watching Can Am videos on CZcams for the past couple of years and weighing up if I would treat myself to a retirement present of one in a couple of years time. Enrique was indeed a native of Malacca City. His family originated from Sumatra as a Minangkabau, Suku Seri Melenggang (Suku mean tribe in Malay). The Minangkabau people had migrated to Rembau (near Malacca City) centuries before. Magellan called him Mulatto because the Minang people had intermarried with the indigenous people like the Jakun tribe, giving him a similar appearance. After the massacre at a banquet held by Rajah Humabon in the Philippines, he returned to Rembau and was glorified with the name Datuk Laut Dalam, meaning 'Deep Sea Warrior' in Malay. He brought along his wife, who was a Javanese lady, had his first daughter in 1524. He became the first leader/Penghulu in Rembau in 1540 alongside another warrior named Datuk Lela Balang. Enrique had four daughters in total and established new villages in Rembau, naming those vilages with names starting with 'Pulau' (Island), such as Pulau Bukit, Pulau Hanyut, Pulau Mampat... Datuk Laut Dalam is Enrique de Malacca..A Malay/Minang guy from Rembau in MALAYSIA! All these facts are available! Learn about Datuk Laut Dalam of Rembau in N. Me and hubby stayed for two nights last week in a wonderful cabin in Corston Corinna; it was heaven called Folly backed onto beautiful woods and five minutes from the beach , no WiFi and no TV ..and lovely owners .

Well done for doing the ride, some interesting roads and good views at times. Could you though please try and upload the video at a higher resolution, the present 360p looks a bit out of focus at times on a larger computer screen and lets things down.

I loved watching this and thank you. Its clear the place cast a spell on you as it did me for a while. That died when I lost my brother Allen who had the book shop opposite the PO and picture knook. Now I see the place and memories cast from my heart, happy to have escaped to Wales.

I think the coaching house was The White Hart. It was an important coaching inn, just left of Franklin's house.

I quite like the ride outs and the commentary. The only down side is the video playback quality is not that good, so I was wandering if it is shot in 1080p or 4K? Everything else is fine thanks. 🙂

I like your videos that you do I think your a brave lady to go out riding on your own and visit different places. I have one question I would like to ask you please can you tell me what is the name of the handlebars on your ryker which I think these bikes are great.
