My 8th grade teacher resigned on February 23rd 2018... A week before she left we found out because she wrote a resignation letter and gave them to us to take home to our parents, she said it was our report card. I opened it on the bus expecting to see my grades but instead was greeted with the worst news ever; I started telling my friends about the letter and bawled my eyes out. One of my friends basically had to hold me so that I would pull myself together. The next day, my friends told the teacher what happened, ofc she was mad at me for opening the letter. That week was spent with us all watching movies and having fun... On the last day, we all made a school group chat to keep in touch. Eventually I was the last one to still contact her a couple of months later. Then one day, she met my mom and they became friends. Then my teacher became my second mom for a while.

I know exactly how this feels. I used to be a teacher, and leaving your students is always soul crushing. 😢

I just moved to a new school Thai year and when it was getting close to the end of the year I found out that 3 of my teachers were leaving and everyone in my class was sobbing (ಥ﹏ಥ)

I will also mrs a teacher deeply. Her name was Mrs. B (bassard) and she was leaving to go another different scjool, she was a really good teacher and everyone loved her. This was her last school year (first half of 2024 she was with us) 😢

Lord the ending had me rolling my eyes though. I hate it when people purposefully just cry in front of the camera. Like you took the time to set all that up. Then even walked away to grab a tissue, then make sure you came back into camera frame to finish crying.
