Thanks for the video. Overall, it was one exciting day, we have Sean jumping in the water to save the pole, we have bong Tim flying across the stream, and our Big O wading half way across San Joaquin river to get those monster carps.

Carp have a soft mouth so you don't try to hoss them in, if you do there is a good chance you'll rip the hook right of their mouths, which is what I'm seeing here. You'll do much better to finesse them in, by using a light drag and slowly bring them in. Expect 3 good runs, before they even start to tire.
